I think they are both being cryptic, the swines. I'm clutching to it being Kramer and Son, been convinced since the first explanation was given a few days ago. Was it not also mentioned that Kramer can be translated as Grocer?

Kramer - character on Seinfeld, a legendary comedy show. Fits the word joke.
Son - anyone would be delighted to have a son.
Tarring and feathering - picture on Wiki page shows someone that was tarred and feathered in Minnesota during WW1. Kraemer and Son's is a home building company in Minnesota. We are in the midst of building a competitive squad.

Original cryptic:
G. Kramer and Son's is a saurkraut company. Sauerkraut is sour cabbage. 1 big cabbage, 1 small cabbage. Kramer is about 3 or 4 inches taller and 12 lbs heavier than Son. They both are contracted to Bayer Leverkusen(same grocer).

Christoph Kramer and Son Heung-Min fit into the cryptic and fit perfectly into what A&C and Rob said in this thread, which very well might be cryptics.
