Considering our very own players consider him the best player in the team, and they hate playing against him in training, this is terrible news.
They surely wont be happy losing who they feel is the best?

If Dembele goes, we NEED new CM to replace him. Grealish is not that player. I know that Dembele wouldn't play whole season but with him, Winks, Onomah, Grealish maybe we could somehow rotate. Now I don't see us fighting with those 3 in CL or PL. Especially considering Winks injury and that Onomah still haven't showed anything near first eleven.

Unless it's back to Fulham for a romantic return there I don't understand why we'd sell him to another Premier League team.

If it is Fulham, and it makes sense that it would be, it may also maybe Levy thinking about laying down the goodwill/foundations for a sessegnon deal next year too.

So it begins. Dembele to Fulham seems the most likely. Would hate to see him still in PL though for another team.

Dembele news...oh dear.

This is a big risk if we don’t have something in mind to replace him.

Odd that it’s a Premier League club. Anyone better or equal to us should be a no no. Anyone worse and you’d really wonder why he’d bother going. I can probably accept him going to Fulham because he has previous there. Ideally he stays or we await more bids.

Well that is a surprise. I'm not really ok with him leaving at all, never mind to a PL side and never mind to a PL side without a replacement being lined up. Interesting.

Seat belt is off, head first through the windscreen might be preferable to the next 24 hours of nail biting.

Fine with Moussa leaving as per The Goat's snippet, as I've said before he's been a great servant to the club and he will be missed, but ultimately it's only a matter of time given his fitness and age.

Bit concerned about him moving to another EPL club, though, I was hoping he'd go to China or the US for a big final few paydays, don't really like the idea of him playing against us.

Let's hope Baldilocks has got a solid, seasoned replacement lined up. Excited about Grealish, and Sandor Clegane or whatever his name is, but neither are ready to step into Dembele's boots.

"Dembélé however suffered from a recurring injury to his foot that caused him to miss a number of games in the 2016–17season.[30][31] He underwent surgery on his ankle in May 2017 but thought that he would never be 100% fit again.[32][33]In the 2017–18 season, he again injured his ankle in the EFL Cup tie against Barnsley in September."

There is no doubt that he is a very good player in terms of physical strength, ball retention and carry, The challenging aspects of his game were the lack of speed in his distribution, tactical positioning and movement. Considering that his body is now starting challenge his performances, I would not be too upset if he was to leave and another player with more movement and ability on the ball was to take his place.

Fulham makes sense for Dembele, game time, a nice bumper contract and probably the only PL team he would consider going to, considering he has stated how much he loves Spurs.

That does put the cat amongst the pigeons on arrivals imo as we would only accept a bid if we have someone coming in, in theory anyway. Although Levy does like leaving Pochettino short (no pun intended)

On the contrary, it should be great news as it means we have someone hopefully tasty lined up to come in at CM, other than Grealish.
