Hugo may leave. I dont think any of us would begrudge him a move to Man Utd. He's been a great keeper for us, very dedicated, and deserves to play at the top level. We will be handsomely rewarded should he depart.
Bentaleb is going nowhere.
If that is the case then Florencio and Real need to get off their ass and settle the De Gea situation sooner than later.

As much as it would kill me to have Hugo head to United I would understand.

But I wouldn't want it dragging along while we still would need a better replacement than Vorm.

Hugo can leave, it's not the disaster many will think it is.

He is a very good keeper, but there are many very good keepers, in fact it's the position i'd be least concerned about us finding a replacement.

Because Real Madrid prefer Spanish players. They have problem pleasing their own demanding supporters so the spanish national goalkeeper is more "BOOM" than the Franch national goalkeeper...Unfortunately for us....
I get that, I just don't want to see Lloris for ManUtd. At least we know how to score on him. If only we can move the ball into the box and fire off close up.

We'd have Vorm in goal next season, imo, and he is not close to good enough, also imo.

I'd begrudge it if he moved to United. Not sure where Hertyid gets that we wouldn't.

I can't see Levy selling to an English club, especially not the weakest of the top 4.

I really won't be impressed if Levy decides to go back to the days of selling our best players to United, or any other English club for that matter.

Do they have a goalkeeping equivalent of Frazier Campbell?

More chance of Lloris going to PSG than Man Utd. They'll pay more and Lloris gets to go home and play CL football.

Vorm will be number one, it's pretty obvious we went through all the trouble to get him for this exact reason. If not this year, Lloris will be off by next.

As long as Kane, Bentaleb, Mason, Eriksen stay in our current squad ,we should be ok. As I said earlier, Lloris is not big loss. We kept just 8 cleansheets all season - mainly down to bad defense.
As long as we improve our defense, any solid GK should do the job for us.

I think Levy doesn't have it in him to sell Hugo to United after what happened with Berbatov.

He will set a fee so high that it will make no sense for United to go for him over other targets.

Won't happen. Rate this optimistic if you want.

thought levy would rather slice his arm off than deal with united. if he does go there it'll be for an eye-watering amount that's for sure.

I remember couple of weeks back , some ITK here said Mathew Ryan is being looked at as an option when Lloris leaves. If we get him, thats a big steal IMO.

His distribution skill is world class IMO. He is short at 5' 11 but makes up for it in athleticism. Hope we get him. Ryan & Vorm - competing for no1 spot would be good.

If Hugo goes I think Vorm with a few games under his belt could be solid for us but if we are to look elsewhere I'd like us to go for Begovic

I'm personally more worried if Hugo leaves and then Martial doesn't fancy Spurs anymore. It's kind of good to have a fellow compatriot in the squad - especially for a youngster. Maybe this is the reason we might possibly be after a couple of French players?

No surprise re Lloris. Utd was always my big worry and it's easy to say a player isn't leaving when no bid has come in. It's when the shit gets real that the decisions get made and we've shown that 9 times out of 10 we deal.

So who's this Martial geezer that everyone's getting mildly excited about?

At the moment Hugo, Kaboul, Capoue and Stambouli

That's all talk. Levy would sell to them without batting an eye. The whole Bale thing was that the deal with Madrid was pretty much agreed and Bale probably would have said no to anywhere but Madrid, at least for another year. Lloris will be United's next #1 without a shadow of a doubt, unfortunately
