Kane should have been sold for the 135m or whatever it was.

We clearly have no money and now we will have to go through all this shit again January/next summer. Kane will also be worth less.

I understand keeping him to have a real shot at getting back in the Champions League this year but that clearly isn't the plan.

Worst squad than last summer for me.

We’re still a Harry & Son injury away from disaster.
This is the really scary part. They are going to be burnt to the fucking ground so I wouldn't be surprised if they picked up injuries, both do tend to pick up injuries, more so Kane obviously but still. and when they don't play, we're so fucked! Bergwijn Lucas Gil and Scarlett? You got to be kidding me, and with no quality creative player I just don't see how we score? We can't expect Kane and Son to play every game without even considering possible injuries. Like you said, disaster

Because he's a good player that we are definitely better than without him? Kane would prefer to be in another club too yet he's playing for us and no one have an issue.

cos kane will remain motivated, where as tanguy will dry and not be motivated?

1) Price is different for PL clubs. (Clue: a lot more).
2) What club did he sign for in the end …

Come on.

1) You really think Leipzig wouldn't be more happy to sell not to a direct rival?
2) Sure, in the end it was clear as day. And maybe Nagelsmann said to him wait for Bayern until they come for you. But the head of transfers at Bayern, Salihamdizic, is working really sloppy and missing out good deals very often himself. Lots of Bayernfans are fuming about him.

Just would like to know if we are somehow interested in these type of deals...

Lol. Name a club that is that stacked that they survive both of their leading attackers being injured at the same time.

Well for a starters most teams at least have a 2nd striker? Is 17 year old Dane Scarlett our backup? I mean I wish the lad all the success in the world but come on…

My point is that our team completely changes without any squad depth upfront. And we’ve lost Bale, Vini & Lamela in one window to replace with Gil.

I just don’t get it.

What the fuck is the point of appointing a big name DOF when you actively work against him when it matters?

Levy knows fuck all about football, everybody knows that, why is he getting involved again?

Its not pessimism, its realism. The City game was good, but the way we battled and scraped wins against Wolves and Watford is not sustainable. Our main creative players are either not bothered (Ndombele) or will be missing large parts of the season (Lo Celso). Dele isn't creative enough, and way too much pressure to put on Gill this season.

Wolves and Watford were not backs to the wall scraped wins. We could, and perhaps should have won either by more goals and not been flattered by it.

I'm fairly confident that given some time the system will bed in and our chance conversion will increase.

Seriously what is Levy doing! He just can’t leave it alone can he. What is the point in hiring a DOF and a manager to work together if you won’t let them get who they want.

Another masterclass in raising expectations, then bursting them on the final day by the club.

This has been a 6/10 window for me. Sure, we’ve moved a few of the old guard on, but probably not enough. And we’ve bought potential in youth, a very promising CB and hopefully a decent RB. But, we’re still lacking a creative midfielder and a forward. We have a utilitarian midfield, but barring Son and Kane a fairly blunt attacking lineup. Almost like a Liverpool lite. Rebuilds take a few windows, most of us understand that, but given all the noise about this being a buyer’s market, it feels like we’ve really missed an opportunity to strengthen elsewhere. And I don’t think anyone should count on Ndombele coming good. He’s way too inconsistent, way too precious to become a mainstay for a midfield crying out for creativity.

I’m disappointed, but at least I can get on with the day now

this would have been a good window if we had a stronger team that needed tweaks

for a team that has gone stale with major flaws and where it seems the ambition was there when prices looked more favourable to do something more major 6/10 seems fair

I wonder what the ‘big announcement’ we were told would be coming will be, can’t be a lucrative naming rights deal as we seemingly don’t have a pot to piss in

However you try and dress it up, we are going to be relying on form (Sanchez, Dier, Dele, Lucas) and fitness (Kane, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Tanganga) of players that have proven themselves to be anything but reliable in these regards. And that concerns me

There is still a chance that some club shits the bed tonight and realises they have to sell a player or two to balance the books - we might get a bargain/loan still.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a phone call from Barca again at some point.

Just to be very clear I am not and have never been ITK, this is pure speculation (bollox) on my part

Paratici, or not, Levy will always meddle so, to that end, this is as good as it gets.

For the myriad of things I despise him for, if he thinks we are creating enough chances then he really is a bellend of Herculean proportions

Questions likely to have been screamed in Italian today.
