Reason being, not that Aresenal dont get him; But this could mean, may be as Goat said Bnezema could happen. Yesterday, I did not believe in Bennzema especially give n Ozil move was imminent - coz I couldnt see RM letting both leave on last day. If this latest info is indeed true, then there is a very slight chance - though I dont know where Benzema & Soldado will play.

Which is pretty much I don't want Benzema to sign, waste of resources.

Before fans turn on them? Did you see matchthread yesterday :-( apparently Chadli is rubbish, Paulinho new Jenas and Dembele always been not good enough. I wonder if some if these 'fans' remember the 90's or started 'supporting' when we got 4th..

Firstly they're not fans and secondly, I can't remember Jenas winning the confederations cup and being voted the third best player at the tournament

It's here at last! At 11pm tonight we can all go back to living normal lives. I don't know what that means for you peasants but it's a godsend for me I can tell you. My absence from the local dogging scene has been noted and the local chief constable's wife isn't very happy about it. The mayor isn't best pleased either. Who'd have thought they would have missed someone dressed as a nazi klingon lollipop lady so much. Or maybe its not so much that as the handheld vadge I take along.

I've been thinking about how the last few transfer windows have always left us wanting a bit more to say the least and that this window has been like all the let downs made up for in one fell swoop. But the downside is in knowing that unless some raving lunatic billionaire takes over the club we're unlikely to see the likes of this transfer window ever again. But you can always say 'I was there' when Levy went all Viv Nicholson.......

Oh and today, at last, we'll be keeping the Live ITK Ticker updated for those of you who just want a point of reference to events as they unfold without having to wade through page after page of people waxing lyrical about how they can't see this happening or why signing so and so is not happening. You know, the phrases that are usually ended with a chavism such as 'end of'.......'just saying' or 'fact'.

I think today is going to be all about outgoing players rather than incoming ones

So who will we sign today? NOBODY

And who might leave? Carroll, Lennon, Benny, Adebayor, any number of younger players.

Goat is more than one person. It's a way of allowing ITKs to update anonymously.

Regarding the £45m signing, there was word the other day of something huge from a couple of places.

if we do get a striker in, it has to be a PL proven striker! Suarez for me if we are indeed willing to spend 45m or I would be ecstatic with a 20m bid for Chicarito. Left back not so worried about it, we could always fake an injury to Rose and make Vertoghen play there "temporarily" with Kaboul and Dawson/Chiriches playing in CB

So Evra to us opening Baines to United? Not sure if he'd come here, but it makes sense for Moyes.

Honestly think if Suarez controls his temper and attitude I'd welcome him. Class player no doubt.

I was thinking last night about who the £45m man could be. The only player I could think of who is worth that AND would make me jaw drop AND plays for a team that aren't bigger than Spurs (better arguably, but not bigger) AND is the sort of thing Levy would love to do to stick it to everyone who thought he was off the market, is Lewandowski!
