It's Danny Glover, which I guess means he's a full on BSoDL Danny Lover

He changed it to Glover the other day

Something to do with Danny Glovers character in the first Lethal Weapon film being close to retirement

Yes and while he a look of real potential. Physically at least, far too raw to be counted on this season right? Right?

Whatever AVB goes with I'll happily accept though.

I think he could do a job, although I fear I'm not the best judge of fullbacks. I thought Naughton did ok last year but everyone else thought he was shit.

It's been a fantastic window but I can't even quantify how sad I am about Benny leaving.

Felt he's been harshly judged after one injury-strewn season when he still has the quality to be one of the best left backs in the league when fit.

Not to mention he's a fantastic character with his heart in the right place. He'll be sorely missed.

I agree about benny but if he isn't fit or has an injury that will prevent him from playing or training it is an issue. I have actually had this theory that Ledley retired because AVB wouldn't allow him not to train and still play. The fact that Harry asked him to come out of retirement to play for QPR would suggests that perhaps his knee was no worse than it ever had been. Anyway I digress, benny was a refreshing change from the normal braindead materialistic footballer and he will be sorely missed. I hope that the faithful continue to show him the love while he is away.

I'm aware of that. My point was that if we don't sign a LB tonight, I'd rather try out Vlad there and see how he fares. Would prefer to keep Verts at CB. That's all.

Perhaps you should think before you overreact, sir.

But it's literally ridiculous to suggest that. He's a right-footed CB new to the league playing him out of position in a position very few players play inverted is batshit insanity.

Naughton is great backup at RB for mine and did an Ok-ish job at LB considering he's not a LB. I do like the look of Fryers though. Big bastard and actually a better footballer than I realised in his little cameo against Tblisi. If AVB is fine with giving him time in the cups instead of loaning him out to get experience then Ok by me.

Chill guys. We wouldn't even know that BAE had left if he hadn't tweeted it himself.

Sorry about that. I´ve read that misunderstanding so many times here now, it´s almost as it´s spreading as a truth. You just were the one who got caught in the line of fire when I freaked out about it...

Why not Kaboul/Vlad as cb and Verts on the left? He´s bloody brilliant there. I know he doesn´t like it, but Gareth played quite a few positions he didn´t like and he turned out rather well, eyh?

Plays there for Belgium I think?
