It looks like we did all our business before selling Bale

We had a pretty great window although once again you can't help but feel we're one or two signings short

The main problem is more about perception and the swinging of the pendlum - Friday everyone was buzzing and people were touting us as dark horses for the title. A NLD loss, the sale of our best player for a generation and Arsenal making the UK signing of the transfer window have tilted the mood and optimism back to the red half of north London

Would have been nice to at least end the window on a high with one more high profile signing but a win on Saturday against Norwich will soon have everyone buzzing again
