Crazy all these deals in deadline day...you could almost think that with all the sky money received by clubs that it's all part of the deal with sky to hold off announcements til the day

and if you wanted to know what ambition looks like, Leicester just announced Slimani

But they dont have a stadium to build or a financial restraint like we do, in the future it may change new owners etc, but until then we will have many days like these.

They have all been balls deep in your Mum?

A that

B that they all would have improved our squad and signed for teams that finished below us in the league. Boufal in particular annoys me. Surely we have let ourselves down. We are short an attacking player and there are many that were gettable and if we couldn't get them, why not keep Chadli?

There was a time when the Goons used their new stadium as the reason they wouldn't spend on players. They still don't spend.. Its all about revenue and income and not ambition. We will be no different, we'll have a brand new stadium and still have transfer windows like this. I can't forsee any improvement apart from our bank balance because our owner is following their model.
I think its a tragedy that he hasn't backed Poch after what he achieved with the team last season and I really worry about us if we get one injury.

Thats not ambition thats stupidity. Slimani is 28 and had his best season last year in the Superleague with 27 goals, the season before he scored 12. Top scorer was Jonas a 32 YO Brazilian. We signed the top scorer in the Eredevisie for 17M and he did it at 22 and thats still a risk. Im sure the Portuguese league is even more miss with strikers moving abroad than the Dutch league.

From COYS:

Ali Z, on 31 Aug 2016 - 9:57 PM, said:

We agreed terms with Isco and Madrid and agreed terms with Sissokko deal was never agreed Isco no idea but guess player decided to stay and obvs Everton have outbid us that info is hot off the press

He said it at 9.57PM, and it's now 9.37PM...

That's some pretty fucking great ITK right there.

I took it as he didn't know as his mate was being coy, and that's why he didn't think it was Sissoko, Isco or anyone that we had been linked to. Once it was called off, his mate revealed. Pretty strange to keep that quiet though considering everybody knew all along.
True since the story suggested levy had it nailed when in truth hadn't agreed fee or seemingly bid again...hmmm

Bloody hell, who should I send the invoice for my 16 hour marathon on here today? Just because I haven't been posting every 15 minutes it doesn't mean I haven't been here!

I actually think Sissoko has done medical / agreed terms with Spurs, just down to us to agree fee with Newcastle. If we want him I think he comes to us
