Well this is certainly an interesting experiment if the latest ITK is to be believed. No club has done this before right?

So, will we progress due to continuity, team spirit and a shared determination to succeed or, will we flounder due to complacency in the ranks combined with undoubtedly quality signings elsewhere?

Quem sabe?

I think the reason why we are taking this so badly is due what we have been hearing the last few months. Reports of big transfer war chest, Levy wanting to make big statement of intent and breaking our current transfer record. To signing no one and Poch saying is happy with what he has and will look to youth. I smell BS. Its no wonder so many are frustrated and angry.

"The club are watching Social Media like gestapo"

So I wouldn't put too much faith in ANYTHING I read on Twitter from ANY source right now, people have sources/jobs or whatnot to protect.

I would have thought if that's the case matey then they wouldn't tweet at all.

But just my #opinion.

Can you imagine having a meltdown part 1 and 2 if some of those were players like Rose, Toby or Dembele, or we get good offers for Llorente & Janssen? Never say never...
I will lose no sleep over any player we sell post-deadline.

Some will leave because we have too many non-HG players.

Some will leave because, as Poch stated, they are not committed, or are making it difficult to train.

I will rally around whomever remains. In reality, it simply means we won't be pushing for deep runs in the domestic cups. We have the quality and depth to remain competitive in the league and CL.

As i said in the thread earlier some of you are just wanting signings because you just do, maybe its like a shiny new toy or a puppy. Unless though Spurs find somebody who will not be crazy amounts on wages and will not be insanely expensive but can improve the team then i doubt they will be bought. Just because we have a new ground does not mean that our spending ways will change , not for a good few years yet. I'm happy with the squad we have , the only area i worry a little is centre mid but if Winks comes back and stays fit and Dembele can handle the season then that's all gravy. The only player i liked the sound of that we were linked with was Martial and Zaha and they would cost a ton.

Anyway not long to go now

Nice bit from JJ there.

If Poch is cool, we all should be cool.

Now just keep Toby, and let's smash the geordies on Saturday.

You really think Poch is cool? Really?

I'll bet my left bollock he's not. Im not saying he's going to kick up a fuss and leave but he's got a right challenge keeping this club in the CL in my opinion.

All starting away at Newcastle with Sissoko in CM. Fuck me.

The club is currently paying the price for not having a Sporting Director since Baldini. Every window we are left with deadwood we can’t shift and now it’s impacted our non-HG squad numbers. Time for a re-think from Levy and Pochettino.

It makes this all the more harder to swallow, from one extreme to the over, NO SIGNINGS AT ALL, nobody saw that coming, its unheard of, im still in shock how we find ourselves in this position

Depends on your view on "competitive" sure we were competitive in every game, but we got completely left in the dust when it came to actually competing for the league title.

Levy bid at the last minute for Sissoko and shelled out a bundle. Burnt his fingers.
Villa's ownership change scuppered Grealish - can't decide whether I'm bothered or not.
I hope they keep this squad together, sell none of them and show us what they're made of.
Win them all in August with Harry scoring in each game and this window is dust.
