And so, the sun goes down on yet another tantalising day of ITK, idle chit chat about Dave, and the pro's and con's of spunking 20mil.
Tune in tomorrow to see who will be sleeping with who, and who'll be the first to scream angrily into their laptop 'JUST SIGN A FUCKING STRIKER!!!!!!!!'
But this season Defoe's scored at almost a goal a game (or the equivalent thereof) and been more clinical than VdV. I don't expect this to last now it's January, but neither do I expect you to stop talking out of your arse anytime soon.
I'd buy Fyffe of them.
God I hope they scrap the transfer window ASAP.
I doubt we'd notice tbh

Biting Satire Hot-Spur...you've changed I miss the "we are going to sign someone my female intuition tells me so" hot-spur of windows past.
Our last really good transfer was Modric, done completely out of the blue in either June or early July, thats how it should be done. Waking up in the morning to see news we've signed a new player without it being mentioned once in the press.
Its a good job Ade is getting a rest this weekend as he'll likely have to play from now until May with no breaks Eek
To be honest to stand any chance of keeping our players we need to win the league. We cannot compete with the likes of City and Chelsea in terms of wages the only thing we can offer is the prestige of winning the title. Until we get a new stadium we cannot match other teams financially. Therefore we need to really make a statement and push on with one or two special signings to improve our chances of winning the league. Truth be told this should have been done in the summer as buying players in the January window is very difficult and prices are over inflated. Clubs also need time to get replacements in; therefore part exchanges are very useful if we're buying like for like replacements for players like Pienaar, Pav etc. If we could do a deal I would love Ganso, Shaqiri; Christensen to come in as exciting game changing subs we can bring on who are young and hungry. Also up front, Maybe Eduardo could recapture his form and his partnership feeding off modric passes in the national team can be rediscovered. Failing that getting Steven Fletcher in wouldn't be bad. £8-10 mil would be a decent price seeing how inflated wages are nowadays. I would love it, just love it though if we Spunk £30 mil on Hazard. He would definitely be worth it and even if Real or Barca came calling later he will be worth £50 mil if we have him on a long term contract.
I'm not getting any intuition atm I'm afraid, thats a very bad sign Eek

You were complaining about us not having cover for a hypothetical situation that Benny was injured...even though he never was. Asking where the replacement was - Bale was capable of playing there, Bassong was capable of playing there, Rose was capable of playing there.
United aren't improving in the slightest, SAF's good at replacing the players that leave (Ronaldo, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy) but a lot of the time he's gotten rather lucky. This year, he appears to have failed - De Gea's no where near a good enough replacement for VDS, and they didn't replace Scholes at all (which is why they bought him back as an emergency stop). United may have won the title 3 times since the Glazers took them over (IIRC), but that's because they're Manchester United. Now that City have shown up, it's shown are incredibly weak they've gotten.
hottie i always read to the end, the only prob is by time i get to the end another 3 pages have been typed
i believe Ade will pick up plenty of breaks as i doubt he will be used for all FA cup games, and not sure if Togo have any friendlies coming up over the next 3½ months
Well its good to know someone gets to the end of the page as my posts are usually always last
I forgot about the cup games, hopefully we have a good run in the FA cup so he has more weekends off.
No offence, but are you mental? :duh:
Scott Parker - June 2012:
"I'm sorry boss, but the lads and I have had a chat and, well, the thing is - playing in arguably the best footballing side in the premiership this year, gaining automatic qualification for the Champion's leage, finishing higher in the leage than we have for years, putting the scum in their place, - It's just not enough. it's champions or nothing I'm afraid. So, um, here's our collective transfer request, we've all signed it and everything. Thanks and all that, hope you understand......."
I reckon you should ask Ian Broomfield if you can join the scouting team, like you mentioned the other day.
IB: Now, Hotty, remember we're here to spot the next Spurs superstar, not to check out the men in their short shorts.
HS: I know, Ian, what do you take me for. I'm a dedicated professional.
IB: Of course you are, I'm sorry. Right here come the teams, let's see if we can find us a gem.
HS: Ooh, nice balls.
IB: Hotty! What did I tell you?!
HS: I'm talking about the Nike T90 Tracer Hi-Vis Winter Edition balls they're warming up with.
IB: Ah, right you are, carry on.
HS: Nice tackle.
IB: Goddammit, Hotty!
HS: Calm down, I'm talking about the challenge that guy just made.
IB: Sorry, my fault again, I shouldn't be making assumptions.
HS: Honestly it's ok, let's just watch the game.
IB: Good idea. What do you think of that striker?
HS: Damn, my crotch is all wet now.
IB: What?!?!?!
HS: I've just spilt my tea down myself, Ian, because some idiot kicked the ball at me.
IB: I'm so sorry, Hotty, I'm not used to having a woman working with me. I really do apologise.
HS: Nothing to apologise for. Oh shit, would you look at that cock!
IB: Oh come on, there can't be anything innocent about that remark? Oh, hang on, I see what you mean. I wonder who invited John Terry to the game.
Excuse me but if we get knocked out next round he would probably get those weekends off anyhow as we dont have any fixtures to rearrange anymore
