i do wonder about some people's opinions on players etc.

not going to get into argument the bottom line is defoe is not good enough for our first 11. proven time and again and only yesterday when he cud really make statement and change hearts and minds his excuse was he does not have long enough legs!!

im sure he will have a long enough cock though to shag the next celeb big brother bird though haha

i actually hope the story is true cos harry wont get rid until replacement is got so if its true we muct have someone coming in. who knows that miss yesterday cud have sealed his fate in more ways than one

VdV has gone off the boil and only lasts sixty minutes while...

Ade has four months left in our colours then nobs off to Itlay / Spain / France - leaving us...

Defoe is mostly anonymous. VDV is always getting involved even if he does drop too deep at times. Defoe spends too much time just standing up top and taking glory for finishing some chances created for him.

I do like Defoe but he doesn't do nearly as much as VDV.

I think Rossi would be sensational for us. He is the one striker I have seen enough of that really excites me. The chances we create. The quality of his finishing. Its a match made in heaven.

Bellamy a good option to have. Explosive from the bench. Probably exactly what we need now as well as Defoe. A genuine game changing option.

Not sure what to make of this, but i just left the pub where i bumped into an old workmate who used to get some really good transfer info from spurs, he told me about the bassong transfer before it happened, and was also bang on with his info about defoe's return to which we thought he had gone mad, but as i say he was dead right. I asked him if he still got info and he said he still hears things through his contact, who although has left his official post with spurs, he is still close to a few faces at whl. When i asked him what was going on he said that we won't be doing anything in regards to bringing someone in this window, but will be signing a player for the summer that will be announced by the end of february. He didn't know who but said he will try to find out for me. He was pissed so could well have been talking nonsense, but i will await his call on thursday and let you know what he says
