It better mend itself in time for deadline day. Whatever happens this week, we'll all be manically bashing F5 next Tuesday and we all bloody well know it!

If people helped with the donations, it might help keep the server running well.

This is not aimed at you Eddie by the way.

Shouldnt a discussion about crap old players go in spurs chat then? 7 pages of nothing but blabber makes people wonder if there has been any ITK. Yet all they find is this :D

I must of stumbled into the wrong thread, I thought this was the daily ITK discussion. My mistake.

I thought it was the daily whinge because we are in third and play attractive football discussion. Oh wait....I'm definitely in the right place.

Yup that is the other problem with this thread, all people have been doing is having a whinge and arguing the same points over and over again. I wish people would talk about all that other rubbish in spurs chat and leave this just to ITK. If there is no ITK dont post in here...simples. That way when there is ITK its easy to find. :hump:

This isnt going to be popular but if I was Levy I wouldnt spend any serious money this window either. We all like New signings, its the excitment of seeing a new player in the team bring something different, maybe even just the excitment of the news of the new player is enough for some ppl but from a common sense perspective I dont think it makes sense to bring anyone in at the moment unless they cost less then what we are shipping out.

We have a great team playing great football, who would you take out of the team to make space for this new signing? Adebayor is playing well and his back up is a current England International and his back up is a current Russian International. I dont for one minute believe Levy should sanction a purchase for someone that he knows is not better than our current starting 11. If you want to improve a squad you buy a player for your starting 11 and demote the weakest link in your current starting 11. You dont buy someone to be a back up! You are taking someone I presume is playing well and starting in their current team and putting them on our bench therefore losing their confidence and value, eventually unsettling them, they unsettle the team and you end trying to sell them at below the price you paid. What good is that?

According to SkySport Italia, PSG have turned theit attentions away from Tevez, having had their latest bid rejected, and made a €27m bid for Damiao.

Great.

Great.

To be fair, we have no idea how Damiao will be. I do know that he would have little use in our current setup where we need a man to hold up the ball. He's not known for his ability to play with back to net. That's not to say future tactical changes might not see him as a great player for us, but under Harry he would be a waste of outlay.

If we really were that close to getting our grubby mitts on him last year, I'd be really pissed off if he now slipped through our fingers, in our current situation.

That said, however, €27m really is too much of a gamble, especially for us - if this really is his going price we really can kiss him goodbye.

The French media of which they speak is a man in a striped vest with onions around his neck reading a newspaper while ogling women outside of a Parisian cafe.

Ros Beef? Pah, Non, Monsieur. Viv la France!

Or some other dodgy stereortype.

The BIG question is why are we not trying to sign Shaqiri? His apparent price is 8 mill and he is going to be a superstar. If JJ still comes on here, is this one player we have been looking at? Could be cover for Bale and Lennon initially and could even replace Lennon.

Amen to that. And he has that pace we need on the wings. He's a perfect fit.
