Lewis Dunk seems to be highly rated. But, dont know if a young CB is what we need since we have Caulker coming through.

Ye noticed that too. Don't think he will be a player that will sign anytime soon though. Probably just keeping an eye on him. Cant see us signing a centre back as it would seem that we have the option of recalling Caulker - he was ineligible today!!!

i cant believe how shit it is on here atm.. i think the reality of us not doing anything this window has struck home in a big way. i know we are 3rd and have an excellent starting 11. but the bench looks pretty shit.!!! we do not have anyone to come on to make a positve change that may worry the opposition. we have been lucky with injuries so far, it could all change in a flash and we could suddenly see ourselves in the mire. i hope we do sign a couple of decent players and get shot of pav and dos, all itk i can assure you!! if anyone is even on here.?

What would we do if bale and say modric were injured and out for 3/4 weeks.? who do we have to even slightly fill their boots.? The 10 point lead could suddenly be fuck all.

Surely we will get some reinforcements. I agree we don't have enough quality in depth. From yesterday's game and a few other this season I think it's obvious that we really need a winger. Without width we look average on times. Still surprised there hasn't been a move made for Hoilett. I know he said he'll wait until the summer but I don't think he would turn the opportunity of joining Spurs down. He would give us some cover for Bale and Lennon, and much needed pace when either don't play.

What worries me slightly is how far we finished behind Chelsea in the end last season having been in the position we were on Jan 31st. They signed players (granted Torres didn't have a major affect on the pitch) which give them a lift and they really kicked on in the end.
One signing last Jan would have seen us qualify for Champs League again IMO. Surely we've learnt from that.
