We have extended Pav's for another year and according to Dan Ashcroft we have the option to do the same with Gomes but I have no idea if that is true or not

pav's has been extended to prevent him from doing a bosman i sure we are desperately tryna shift gomes..but his will be ending this season.

I just spoke to my mate who gave me a little info on monday, he originally said that we wasn't signing anybody this window, but would announce by end of feb a new signing for the summer. Anyway all he told me today was Ade will be staying with spurs, it will be announced towards the end of the season and the deal is to pay 8 mil of the original 12 mil fee to city, and the other 4 mil goes to Ade as a signing on fee, he says wages will be 100k per week, along with Modric and Bale. He has been right in the past but again, im just passing on what he has told me. I don't particularly believe this and told him so, he just said wait and see. Heres hoping. :beer:

I can see this happening either as a cut price transfer or with Ade buying up the remainder of his contract. £12m and £100k a week would be a very good deal in my opinion. Still need another forward player who can operate on the wing or as part of a front 3 ala Remy, Marin or Shakira and possibly another striker that would be able to rotate with Ade...Berbatov? Leandro the obvious choice but unlikely to come to us now i think. But Ade on a perm would be great news.

I knew Villarreal were having a poor season by their own standards, but I didn't realise that having passed the half way mark, they are entangled in a relegation battle.

Doubtful that Rossi will hang around without any European football, let alone the prospect of playing in the Segunda.

I hope that's true concerning Adebayor. He is a great platform to build on to move up a level to title contenders in my opinion, if we're not already that is.

Adebayor on a permanant, Leandro as back up, a speedy backup for Bale/Lennon and possibly another CB would be brilliant business in the summer in my mind.
