It has been suggested in the past, I was thinking the same.

However, the language he uses to describe Lennon --- "the lad" --- does not suggest that they are friends. He may have used that language intentionally to distance himself from Lennon, but I find it hard to believe that Lennon would have such an in-depth knowledge of our transfer activity.

I'm one of those that thinks that no news means that something is happening and will come out of the blue ala Modric.

I'm hoping anyway, for a shiny new (brazilian) striker that we can call our own

Aaron Lennon and I have a mutual friend who works in football, and he has assured me that Lennon is not looking to leave Spurs this window.

He's also told me stuff about Spurs and Kaka, but that basically corroborates what POTL has said.
