We would never pay 35m for a player tho, so its not as if we were involved when the figure rose to such heights. Im not suggesting we pay 28m for leandro for one second, But we must go for these players before they get to that price. When will levy learn? Remy we could of got b4 marsielle got him, Rossi was in the bag for 17m until levy tried a fast one the next day, cavani... the list goes on and on.

I agree with you that we need to sign the up and coming players, but to be fair to Levy he's done pretty well in the other positions, it's just the striker he hasn't got right (although he did bag Berbatov).

Jenas and Bentley are out injured untill April/May time I think so they wont be in the squad.

wonder what the players make of all this? hope there's more ambition in reality and not just what we think we're privy to. i know we only get to see 1% of stuff that happens but love me most people on here swing between blind optimists and crushing suicidals simply over us chasing a single signing/striker that can hinge on a few bucks either way (yes i know it's not my money) or us just taking a punt. it'll be soul destroying watching city and chavski spend undoubted millions without a moment's hesitation on class players in the summer if we've not got anything lined up. naff, we're so close it hurts.

Krasic's coming in in my opinion, him on loan seems like too good a deal to miss. It'd make us buying Falque make sense as well.

That's the only deal I can see happening tomorrow.
