Our policy seems to be to sign proven Premier League quality first, so i'm not surprised we're looking at Samba (and if reports are true Collins) first.

Yeah, there's been very little deviation other than Sandro and Van der Vaart. It has his its advantages; but to predominately focus on an insular transfer strategy is both expensive and rather short-sighted.

Remy just looks like a fancy version of Agbonlahor. I'd rather sign the latter as he's young, got prem experience, can play up top/on the wing, seriously quick and has been playing reasonably well this season. Comes down to what Villa would want for him? I'm sure there have been reports that Villa are short of funds too?

i seriously doubt our hands are tied, due to needing to move players. that's a bunch of tosh. we have the funds, we're simply are in a rare position for us, insomuch that we don't have any glaring deficiencies right now. we can afford to take a more calibrated approach to this window.

Lack of ITK maybe a good thing? It seems when we have lots, nothing too much happens. Now there is nothing about maybe the club has shut up shop because moves are afoot??

Agbonlahor is useless and wouldn't get into our team.

Surprised nothing about Doumbia has popped up yet. Ticks a lot of boxes, plus there's the Russian thing going on which means that the Daily Fail can make up player swap stories aplenty.

Not specific transfer news but told this morning that Harry has set his own transfer window date. He has told Daniel Levy he wants all of Tottenhams dealings to be completed by the 10/11 of January. Harry has even told Levy that even if a “gift” becomes available he would prefer to go with what he’s got.
