The problem with this Damiao business is its been going on so long some people seem to have convinced themselves he really is the answer to all our troubles. Internacional are asking way too much money for him given what he has, or should I say, what he has NOT done so far in his career.
If we have bid £13m then I think we have lodged a more than fair bid. If its not good enough then so be it.

I just wish we would move on from ( a ) Leandro and ( b ) this seemingly silly last minute dealings! 1 in 5 come off.

That just doesn't make sense. Why would a club be more willing to sell a player during the middle of their season, rather than for a higher premium during the middle of ours? They would be selling for less during the middle of theirs. They wouldn't, that is bullshit. If it doesn't happen during the winter window, it won't happen.
