Why do you think the striker happening has anything to do with him? The ITK's have repeated over and over that he will have no effect on our incomings and we put in a bid of £18mill for a player just yesterday.

I'm forgetting about him now. He's irrelevant.

So Berahino and a sensitive CDM deal. I imagine that there are conversations going on with a couple of difficult, high profile players such as Illar and Bender but nothing concrete enough yet to say which way it may go or if we will have to go for a back up target (or dont want the publicity to potentially jeopardise a big signing). Sit tight and wait and see I guess.

CF will happen and may have to wait quite a while (up to a week) due to certain circumstances. Magic word here is 'could' be done a lot quicker if these certain circumstances change.

Sounds as if it's bera and could be done quicker if my levy meets a price that's been given maybe, hoping the silence in the cdm is as people have said because it's sensitive the fact we tried so hard for schnerdlin shows it's a area we are trying to address and guess it's coming to the nitty gritty part of the window now,

May be wrong but is JJ saying the CF we are signing isn't one of A&C's cabbages so he can tell us now? Also liking the up to a week bit for a CF. Should mean it won't take longer. Guessing judging by the media etc that Peace is trying to make it look like they are doing everything they can to keep him whilst they've already replaced him. The old tried and failed to keep him happy, offered him a new contract etc...

On the one hand we've been told Ade out isn't a constraint but equally if you're playing poker with Pearce, shifting him marginally weakens your hand.

As to midfielders, I didn't think that JJ does cryptic but was "conundrum" an obvious word to use?

No offence Pinky, but you are just assuming the cabbage was Hernandez, as it's not been confirmed, and stating it as fact just winds me up as others jump on your post and continue to spread it as fact.
