I'm hoping that Berahino is finalised soon and hopefully Illarramendi or Bender too - then if we get a deadline day deal on Hernandez then that's a nice little bonus :)

.......am I reaching too far!!?

what are you smoking dude :D

LOL - Day Nurse!!

Ok, what I meant to say is, by all accounts Berahino wants to move and we seem his most likely destination, and judging by ITK the same could be said for Illarramendi (he's surplus to requirements at RM and likes the prospect of joining us). Now with Hernandez, teams aren't going mad bidding for him, he's still sat at Man U, well out of their plans - so the chances of him going anywhere are likely to be down as a last minute, deadline day deal!

All i'm saying is that if possible we shouldn't wait till deadline day for the likes of Berahino and a DM (Illarramendi or someone else). BUT for someone like Hernandez, we CAN wait till deadline day! Capiche!?

......I really don't feel well!! :(

hertyid on SB: He's been offered almost 50k a week which is more than double what he's on now.
Pretty sure this is going to be concluded shortly.

I thought that WBA had been rumoured to have offered him a new contract of around £50grand a week?

I don't think this move is just down to the money, we are frankly a bigger Club and a better propisition. The hesitation won't be the player, but the boardroom.

It means its way to early for him to give any hints or names :p

There's still well over a week to go until the window closes and if there are several names in the pot, nothing looks close.

Wouldn't surprise me if we get none.

Subtly preparing us for the worst, I like it, a proper mingewrangler!

Can't see Berahino being concluded quickly. Whenever we've issued 'hands off' statements in the past, we've waited until deadline day or at least within a day or two of it to sell. The only way I see it speeding up is if he kicks off and refuses to play this weekend.

On the west brom forums they seem to think that they have a £45k a week contract sitting on the table for him. So sounds right.
Can understand if he wanted to wait to see if anything better came though.

Sorry not a regular on here so I'm unsure when the outbreak of the cabbage pandemic started. But does this mean that Evans was instead of Toby/Wimmer?

Also the SB move has been going on all summer so I think it would be reasonable to presume we plan to bring another forward in after SB. So who will be the replacement for Hernandes?

In the past seven summers Spurs have signed 32 first-team players and 16 of those deals have been completed after the start of the Premier League season.

Just quoting from a red top. Just didn't realise just how late we do leave some transfers.
