Dammit 22 pages and still no sign of Marco Reus signing this window
I dont have to be ITK to know that we wont be signing Jones
I like Archibald's latest ITK. I definitely agree with the approach that we look only for players who will be instantly good, or those who will be good in the future.
I feel that too many times in the past our policy of buying players who are crap, and those who turn out to be crap, has held us back.
This is an important shift in our transfer policy methinks.
Although he seems like a decent chap. Which is what matters, after all.
Small mercies

BREAKING: former Man Utd striker Louis Saha has joins South African Premier League club Wits University

I can do that, plus tidy up the tables so they don't look gash. I'll submit something later.

Let's say he can handle the pace and has still got the quality - how's he gonna instantly hit the ground running and be "a hit" having played just six matches this season?

Best way is to make your own mind up. Go back over the old posts from previous windows and see who called what and when.
Here is a old post to get you started, saves you going back beyond the Jan 2012 window.

The Goat
The Goat is supposedly a collective, not a single person. Whoever is in charge of The Goat's keyboard however, comes across as an insufferable bore. If they aren't taking stories from the press and posting it as 'ITK', they are busy making up convoluted cryptic clues. Keane and Jenas to QPR, a pair of Spurs players to Sunderland, Lennon out, Downing in, Beckham in, Kevin Doyle to Arsenal, Vucinic more likely than Adebayor... I kid you not. I'd ignore their bleating if I were you.
