I have no idea what any of this means.

I think the idea is that the most obvious answers are usually right
and usual suspects to me fees like Mout, LD, Willian etc

My take on it is that when we are trying to think who we are targetting, we shouldnt think too hard...

DL has sounded out Real Madrid over a few players on loan... one of them being Callejon!

Defoe looks brilliant in the linked list - top on goals 14. top on passing accuaracy 85.4%, most moms 4, and second only to Negredo in shots at goal. ...who would have thought?

I expected Ade to be the Chivers / Bobby Smith type to be dominant in the box but he really isn't that type of player and never will be. Looking at aerial duels won, Ade's 1.7 per match is poor compared to Benteke 8.0, and Jones 6.1 and Andy Carroll's 10.8.

Benteke was certainly a bargain for Villa!

Bloody hell, the list includes the number of Milfs each player has done?!

Like I said on the 14th - just a fan with no insight on inside Spurs knowledge but have close connects with two well respected European agents.

Any agent who is worth their salt isn't giving away any "real" information.

As the one I have spoken to has no dealings with Spurs we can laugh and I can ask his opinions on what Spurs will do.

He enlightened me that they will do what they always do:

1. Identify their list of targets (done months in advance)
2. Make initial contact with targets and clubs
3. Lowball
4. Create illusion we have no money
5. Play agents across Europe by pretending to be interested in alternatives to drive down the price
6. Levy Time

It's what Levy knows, it's what he does best.

Relax and be thankful we are at stage 5, only stage 6 to come.

This sounds about right. If it is the case then it is exactly as most of us suspect. It's always more about the price than the player. We will always see what we can get for value at the end of the window over paying what we really want/need earlier in the window.
Also explains why we never pull off a marquee signing. Marquee players are the ones that clubs dont want to sell or dont need to sell for cheap. They always need time to replace them as well so it's unlikely that they will sell for cheap when they have no time to replace them.
Maybe gives a bit of hope for Willian as he has possibly already been replaced. Then again, I'm sure Shaktar would rather keep him and play him in the champions league than sell him cheap at the end of the window.

Not over Parker, Sandro or Dembele I'm afraid. I don't actually rate him that much, looks decent but nothing special.

I think the number of unnecessary exclamation marks used in this post could possibly be used as a rough indicator of the level-headed, considered and authoritative nature of the poster...
Also, why would Holtby's representatives be "over here" to negotiate his early arrival? We've already signed him and agreed his personal terms. If we wanted to sign him early it would be Schalke we'd be negotiating with, not Holtby's reprs.
Hmm. Think I'll pass on this one.

Not over Parker, Sandro or Dembele I'm afraid. I don't actually rate him that much, looks decent but nothing special.

In terms of ball playing and attacking in the final third with intent to effect the game I think he is much better than our current 3.

All lot of the good bits from out midfield come from deep. when they reach the end zone they get stage fright.

I.e parkers mazy runz to nowhere.

For all dembeles guile he lacks the final pass far to often.

Its not in Sandros game to play that way for us.

I can see him playing instead of Parker tbh
