not sure how reliabel this is, but noodles was itk back in the day, probably pinch of salt though
noodles: Hearing
Pamela's playing up wants a new contract , Pochs told him to earn it or fcuk off (probably back to Rome)
The Dutchmans toast not up to the required standard
And before we take one as gospel... this was copied over to the Lamela thread at the weekend...

hertyid responding to various conspiracy theories:
Firstly Lamela was supposed to be taking the penalty against City. If anyone got a bollocking it was Son.

Second why are we all so comfortable with the concept of physical injuries but
not with mental? The guy is depressed. He had some personal issues and his 2 week injury has become a nagging 3 month problem. He is in the gym on his own doing rehab. It's got into his head. So he's off to Rome for a few weeks of R&R with some old friends and the Roma physio.

Nothing to see here. And definitely
not being sold.

Whatever fans may think of Lamela it is pretty clear Poch rates him. Hopefully the info is off the mark.

If it isn't and we are to sell him, with the chinese apparent obsession with South American players, we could get a huge fee for him. Oscar for 60m is a decent benchmark imo.

I think it depends on the manager/coach. For example, Guangzhou Evergrande bought Paulinho because Scolari wanted him. Shanghai SIPG bought Hulk and Oscar because AVB wanted them.

If he's depressed and missing his friends (in Rome) sending him there for R&R isn't going to help as when it comes time to return to Spurs he isn't going to want to leave. You don't manage or beat depression by feeding it with short termism and something that you know for now that you can't have long term. The only way this will end if this is our approach is that he'll end up moving back to Rome permanently.

I disagree tbh - maybe he needs a break away to clear his head and if he has more friends in Rome then it makes sense to let the guy go there. Hopefully he can get over the trauma of what happened to his brother and the difficulties of getting over an injury. Fingers crossed he will come back refreshed and with a renewed sense of purpose.

Ordinarily I would agree but if you recall, he went to Italy the first time he was seemingly struggling and he came back a stronger person physically and mentally.

i think it implies he is more depressed because of the situation of him not playing and having to watch the team play with him the only casualty of injury

What does the dutchman bit mean???

It's saying that Janssen's time is up.

Poch's comments at the weekend indicated that he wasn't at the right level yet, but that the staff were working with him to improve. Personally I'd be surprised if we sold him so soon, but I'm not expecting to see him play many more games. May-be he'll get another chance against Wycombe?

Friend of mine who works in the academy at Norwich has told me that Spurs are close to doing a deal for Jacob Murphy. We've also taken a look at his brother but so far not made an offer for him.

He says that other prem clubs are sniffing around but we are in the driving seat and it's close

This is not how Erik has behaved along his entire career.

Murphy? I wouldn't be bitter about that, stout little player, goes down a bit too easily though.
I think I'll stop now, fancy a pint

Is this the one that was at Blackpool? Didn't he get in a bit of trouble for joking around on Snapchat about how terrible their form was at the time? Can't say I've seen much of him since though.

Man that is so spot on. Mental issues are something the rich and famous aren't allowed to have them cause of the "prestigious" lifestyle they have.

If Lamela needs time to get his mind right than so be it. Dude is my favorite Spur and can't imagine seeing your brother attached to tubes. Moving on from that must be hard.

His brother Josh was at Mk dons last season and played off the wing if i remember correctly.
