Gutted. Now this is public I think there is even less of a chance of it going through as the FA will want to be seen as having crossed "t"s and dotted "i"s to avoid being hammered by our competitors in the EPL. Well it was fun while it lasted but fingers crossed for a miracle.

Spanish mate says: Good news in the spanish press. They are convinced that the deal will go through, stating clearly that he's already a Spurs player and Perez has called the premier league to explain that the delay was due to them not understanding that the window closed earlier in England.
Sounds like all so much bollocks but i'm happy to clutch at straws at this stage.

Wouldnt be Spurs if the deal went ahead simply, quickly and on time.
