Finally got some feeling back in my hands after spending the last 5 hours with my balls consumed within the boundaries of some nostalgic 4-4-2 magazines.

The term severely chaffed woulde a gross understatement and I've seen less dryer cracker eating contests than the way my body feels right now.

Long live king RVDV.

If I had any juices still running through my body I'm sure I'd be crying with joy right about now!

Funniest. Thing. Ever.

Thois will be SSN that had Babel in a chopper onb his way to the Lodge will it? Great source of information!

As an aside, why do people keep referring to the FA? This is an PL issue not an FA one.

Finally, for the purposes of serving documents for Court purposes, the time a fax is sent is calculated by the start time of the fax, not when it's completed - although this will only be relevant if we are talking about being a matter of minutes late rather than hours.

You sound very professional. :)

I doubt we got him over. Medical in Spain, wages agreed over phone.

Simples. All thats left is paperwork. I am sure they have templates and just add the names to the blanks.

Quite right. PL contracts are standard form. VDV could sign for us without being in the country and without even signing anything in front of our officials.

The way I see it, VDV has agreed to come here, Real Madrid are happy to let him go and take the money...

..just stick a Jenas mask on him and nobody needs to be any the wiser.

Sounds like we got it through on time, but Real Madrid didn't. But because their window shuts at midnight, FIFA approve. But because the whole deal didn't go through on time, the Premier League aren't too pleased.

If FIFA are on side, I think this will go through

I think that could be pretty close to the mark.

I hoping for the gig of going down and arguing why the tansfer should be sanctioned.

Just checked the PL rule book for this season. Makes no reference to a 6pm close to the window. It just says that the woindow shall end on 31 August 2010.

It is likely that they wil lsay that they gave all clubs notification that the end would be 6pm and this would be valid, but it doesn't really explain why we are so out of line with the rest of Europe

the same PL that employed david Dean and put him in a position to potentillly make a call on a last day plea of Tottenham Hotspurs FC to have a game postponde due to an freak and dramatic bought of squad spread food poisioning?

This isn't gonna get cleared. whats more if it were any other club who'd got thier deal in late it would have just simply been turned down but they're teasing us to make us look like mugs publically.

I would have thought the prem league would get a fee for processing a transfer. Surely they'll want it to go through?

If Arsenal were trying to sign this player, we would be screaming "cheats!" As indeed many did when they signed Arshavin.

There's an element of hypocrisy, or at least special pleading here.

watch the video links! Exactly what we need. Our Gerrard/Lampard/Fabregas but better than those in my opinion and not just because he is about to sign (pl permitting) for Spurs.

Is he as powerful as those players?
