• Outspent on incomings? or are we back to net spend? Only four clubs have spent more on incomings in the last 5 years and guess what Arsenal are not one of them This is the wrong place for this but this net spend crap is really getting on my nerves now. In the last 5 seasons we have spent more than 75% of the Premier league FACT, so not outspent by all of them by any stretch of the imagination. Fact is all this net spend criticism imo is based on the fact we have sold Bale and are really really good at selling our unwanted players for an extortionate amount of money. Not something imo that warrants criticism at all.

If all the reported outgoings come to pass, this squad looks at least two, possibly three players short of one that could be competitive in the league and Champions League to me. We need an alternative to Dembele, someone to push Eriksen, whether that be a left winger or an attacking midfielder and if Son goes as well, then either a third forward or a right-sided midfielder to challenge/back up Lamela. I sincerely hope Levy isn't about to do this to another manager...

Onomah is clearly ineffectual not playing in his favoured position in centre mid.

Edwards needs to do a lot of developing physically and we can't be naming him as a regular first team option.

Kane has looked shit when playing deeper, it doesn't suit him.

So really, we have Eriksen, Alli, Lamela, GKN, and Son if he stays.

5 players for 3 positions? With 3 out of form and 1 being a new addition.

Hardly screams confidence.

I wonder if the "blue" component of the cryptic is a reference to Isco's reported unhappiness at the though of leaving Madrid, which seems to be one of the primary hangups to the deal being completed.

The bench on Saturday was hardly worrisome...from an opposing manager's perspective (and fan).....I really hope Poch/Levy has several options in place with roughly 48 hours to go.

Isco, in my opinion is very necessary. Truly hope he can be persuaded to join our team. It would really give everyone a much needed jolt...on here and specifically the pitch. Unfortunately, there ain't many Spaniards to be calling seeking feedback...except Mr.Bale.
