If we could move Soldado on then we should.

I'd go all in on Bony which would be the easier option than trying to get Lukaku. I do not want that guy with the busted knee from Saints though. Iv'e had just about enough of the club spending records sums on players with major injuries just to keep the physios employed.

as much as I would love to see Soldado succeed, an offer of 20 million pounds for a 29 year old striker who hardly impressed last season should be taken under serious consideration

The sad irony is that if we get Tino he'd bring out the absolute best in bobby and he'd bag shitloads for us.

So sad.

As much as I supported AVB and wanted him to do well (until he showed the extent of his intransigence) I cannot forgive him for what he did to bobby's game.

I think he'd improve Soldado's contribution but I don't believe he'd score shit loads with any manager spearheading the attack by himself.

I genuinely like Soldado and think he's a good player but a striker in the PL playing on his own up front needs certain attributes. At least one of a) Pace (even if its over the first few yards), b) Physical presence and c) the ability to create something out of nothing. If you have more than one great, if you have all three your laughing. Sadly, Soldado has none.

I read neogenisis ITK as people talking about it at Saints same as here with the extra knowledge that Pochottino has signaled he'd like to come, that's the sort of info we wouldn't get at our end but would soon spread at their end.
Sad to see Soldado leave but if true, can we turn down something like that hoping he'll come good next season, he's obviously a better goalscorer than we've seen this year and I'd love to see him show it even if its somewhere else if we can get in a good replacement.

Sounds like we already have the perfect Prem striker in Harry Kane! :D:love:

I imagine Atletico will be negotiating in Euros. In which case its about £16m.

Though Tino plays 4231 you would never think it, the way they get forward in numbers...and I mean forward!

The way AVB played 4231 should not be a reference point for anything.

Tino plays 4231 'tear-up' stylee. Fucking love the way he approaches the game.

Anyway, I'm late, I'm out.

No..hang on...Sherwood's out! I'm having such a good day....

Would be gutted to see Soldado go as I really wanted to see him suceed with us, but unless we sign a manager who is going to get the best out of him, I'd rather see him sold back to Spain to try and resurect his career than become a shadow of the striker he was, like Torres has become.

Really not sure what to make of Atleti in for Soldado.

Want him to succeed here badly and a confident Soldado in a side that can provide him the service then he will be banging in the goals.

That being said, his confidence was shot this year so can he recover adequately enough and remains to be seen whether at this current moment in time, we can construct a side to play to his strengths - not to mention that recouping most of the outlay on a 28/29 year old is not something to be dismissed out of hand.

I'd be gutted to see Soldado leave without having the impact we'd all hoped for.

But if we have received an enquiry/ bid of £20m for him we got to seriously consider it. I'd expect Levy to squeeze another couple of million out of them especially if they are sitting on a pot of money received for Costa
