I'm assuming it's positive ITK. With all the media hype it seems Jacob is just jumping on the bandwagon.

I want both WIllian and Lamela. Deadly serious. Like a heart attack. I'll wish GB all the best but Bobby, Willian and Lamela as our new attack plus a wedge left over is a very fair deal.

Or ya know, Either and Bale staying. However, Bale is likely to be offski next summer anyway so why leave ourselves vulnerable. Get 'er dun all at once. Leave others with big problems to look forward to for fucking once.

I want both and Bale to stay. I know folk say that is ridiculous but we are being ridiculous, we are going for it, we are Spurs.... To Dare is to Do. Dare we?

That's what I want - but I don't think AVB actually wants to play the 4-3-3, which I personally find quite funny since it's how literally everyone on here lines us up. Perhaps when Sandro is fit...
Indeedy. A trio of even Lamela, Willian and Chadli behind Bobby looks plenty strong enough for me. Anyway, no use putting up formations etc. Need these players in firstly. If Bale would commit to us then our job as a club would be easy peasy. Bale sitch means we're not just signing players for this summer, imo. We're also looking at next summer's predicament also. Would make much more sense to get this sorted sooner than later and when we think we can get these players for big fees but still on wages we can commit to.

Lamela might be looking for stonking wages next summer if he has a blinding season in a weaker league again. Might be the time to strike right now. Because the fees might be a little painful for us but mahoosive wages to us as a club are poison and we rightly give them a swerve.

Creepy cryptic from Jacob coming so soon after this was posted on SC:

Do you take requests for your song writing talents? Was thinking about The Smiths: Heaven knows I'm miserable know. You may choose the player.

Is he ITK? Then i would assume it is bale leaving.

Is anyone else trying to not get excited because a lot in the past points to that being a waste of time and ultimately depressing...but failing hugely..?

I'm with TSH86...

Willian is likely but I would say not yet done based on current info (though A&C has done his best to imply it perhaps is)...
Lamela has been very quiet, so if he is flying to London i would be worried about Arsenal and I really really don't want lamela going to Arsenal UNLESS we are nailed on keeping Bale, in which case i don't care about the rest of the TW.

But we have already done pretty good business and one has to question whether we can maintain this and turn it into an epic TW or just good. Either way, note to board, you signed early enough to keep us peasants in good spirits, keep it up in future TW's please!!

I would imagine that if we got both lamela and Willian we would lineup as:

Paulinho - Sandro - Dembele

Lamela - Soldado - Willian.

Any point in being cryptic when every media outlet in the world is talking about the link?
Any point in being cryptic ever, since we do post the correct answer everywhere? It is not as if journos and others cannot decipher our solutions...

:wideyed: Hey, give me the number of your dealer yeah? Shine on you crazy diamond. :)

I have moments of utterly insane optimism myself at times but even that is a step too far for me.

This whole Lamela/Willian thing actually feels like we're 'doing a Chelsea' - almost just buying players so other clubs can't have them, like they did with Mata/Oscar/Hazard/Marin/Moses.

We need both though.
