Not sure if it is a Typo or not. If we can/can't get Lamela we will go for another striker. 'Can't' makes more sense but it says 'can'.

Willian is likely but I would say not yet done based on current info (though A&C has done his best to imply it perhaps is)...
Lamela has been very quiet, so if he is flying to London i would be worried about Arsenal and I really really don't want lamela going to Arsenal UNLESS we are nailed on keeping Bale, in which case i don't care about the rest of the TW.

But we have already done pretty good business and one has to question whether we can maintain this and turn it into an epic TW or just good. Either way, note to board, you signed early enough to keep us peasants in good spirits, keep it up in future TW's please!!

In this age players are very aware of what is going on around them, even if Arsenal were interested in Lamela I think he and his representatives would be fully aware that we have signed 4 players and spent £60M and still looking to spend more and they have spent fuck all so far. Looking at the Liverpool project and the Arsenal one ours is being conducted with far more conviction.

Dunno for sure. When Soldado was having his medical the cameraman outside holly house suggested it was one of only a few Bupa hospitals about; but also - as you suggested - there's another private one in Enfield. Whether that's Bupa I don't know. As I'm working relatively nearby holly house I thought I'd donate to SC by way of diesel

There's always that danger. I think we'll sign at least one of Lamela or Willian when Bale leaves though and wouldn't be suicidal, given the other business we've done this summer. We get both Lamela and Willian and I'll carry GB's bags myself. It would be an insanely good window, even with Bale going out the rear, so to speak.

I guess that part of this is that AVB is now getting in his targets, like Willian for example.
He confirmed that he turned down 2 job offers over the summer, so you'd have thought that he'd had had some assurances that we'd really push for the players he wants to build his own team.
Seems that Levy and Lewis really beleive in him and are using the new TV money and player sales to get in some quality.
Could also be the Bale money though!

I read Grey Fox's ITK as "forgo" as one word ...

...as in, if we get Lamela, no extra striker.

I'm hopefully wrong, mind.

Paulinho - Sandro - Dembele

Lamela - Soldado - Willian.

I want both WIllian and Lamela. Deadly serious. Like a heart attack. I'll wish GB all the best but Bobby, Willian and Lamela as our new attack plus a wedge left over is a very fair deal.

Or ya know, either and Bale staying. However, Bale is likely to be offski next summer anyway so why leave ourselves vulnerable. Get 'er dun all at once. Leave others with big problems to look forward to for fucking once.

Whilest true, we've broken our transfer record twice this summer and spent 26 million pounds on a striker. Not exactly normal Spurs behaviour is it?
