With zero urgency to announce a coach, I suspect Levy is, rightly, hammering out a deal with whomever he's dealing with.

That Poch is proving expensive does not preclude his signing & anyway considering our operating profit was £1.5m last year, it probably makes sense to try and bargain hard.

I don't blame you, but in relative terms of investments in modern football, that amount should be an afterthought when it comes to getting the right man in place.

I do think the "delay" is a construct of the information at hand from ITK, when in reality it's simply the amount of time the board set aside to mull over this decision. Not a chance they give the job to Poch without interviewing de Boer first, especially considering they apparently offered him the job mid-season.

Lewis wants Poch
Levy wants Rafa
FDB is first choice
Compo for Poch & his team too high
Sky saying Poch to sign new 3 year deal with Southampton.
Clive Allen is gonna put a sneaky fiver on Ancelotti.
Still might wing it with LVG
Have I missed something here?

I actually felt quite confidently that Sherwood would be given the job and keep it for the rest of the season regardless of results. That was an emergency situation, this is quite different.
