Or perhaps the compensation isn't an issue but he's delaying because he wants to actually talk to FdB who right now is in Asia, before he pulls the trigger on the new manager.
That I have no problem with even though my preference is definitely Pochettino. What I would struggle with is not going for Pochettino because of the financial cost. Its not like its going to be titanic.
If we're confident he's our man and we're really keen to appoint him then surely to God the finances can be sorted out. That's not to say we should be cavalier, never Levy's style and for good reason, but the desire ought to be there if we're content that he's our man.
If we pull out because of the cost it just indicates to me more indecision. This appointment is simply massive, and whilst we need to sort out the best deal for the Club, it really should be secondary in this instance.
