Hahaha, people bitching about this window. I have no idea why some feel so entitled! Jan window is notoriously bad for doing deals. The summer is when most will get done. Yet we have signed two solid players that IMO has strengthened us. Some can't see beyond their Levy hate. Let's not forget, it is Conte that says what players he wants, but not all players will want to come to us or the selling club don't want to sell as is their right.
It’s not just about the window, it’s the state of the club in general. It’s snowballed and now we are reaching the pinnacle.

We didn't need Danjuma, we needed Porro and a CB

The counterpoint is an investment now to secure top 4 would mean in the summer we'd be looking at the top tier of signings (and we have a LOT of squad rebuilding to do). If we're not in CL, it sets us back massively and we need to gamble on lower tier players turning out well.

Always 1 or 2 short. Every single time. No wonder we often fall short of tangible success.
And it always will be like this because people loves to moan? Now we missed on Hincapie. If we brought Hincapie then fanbase will be dissapointed we didn't replace Lloris etc etc

The problem is that we have Conte so of course expectation is to build a title contender. So far we've built a squad to compete for top 4 again.
In the grand scheme of things it's a good window just not one that will challenge for titles. It's basically what we've done for years now.

Sounds like we're done. Not surprised, we've done the absolute bare minimum again.

levy is a twat! And I’m not n the least bit surprised! And thus is why we’ve not had the announcement yet! Cos he think if we hold off it’ll please the masses!
I wish I could say he was deluded and we wouldn’t buy it! But so many have!

like trix has said! Bare minimum! YET AGAIN! Left short YET AGAIN!
Absolute joker!

Tbh I think this has been disproven in recent years. There's so much money in the PL now that the teams that miss out on the CL (which has included Arsenal, Chelsea and United in recent years) sign top players with relative ease.

Although agree we should have done more and we will probs falter in the summer as well.

Personally I see any window where you strengthen as a win. Every team can’t strengthen every window - that’s mathematically impossible. If a team is moving in the right direction that should be enough. Big summer though with Kane situation. Irreplaceable.

CL makes no difference to us, we don't spend any more or less whether we are in it or not
Don't think players care either, you pay the money then they will come, scum did fine out of cl and Chelsea man u sign the players they want
Another bog average window, one bench warmer attacker out on loan and one in and a good right back
Massively underwhelming

It’s not a disgrace of a window but it is short once again. We’ve made a massive upgrade to one of our weakest areas, and have beefed up the attack. All the eggs have to be in the centre back and goalkeeper market in the summer now though. Simply cannot allow those positions to continue to go unaddressed.

Not the best window not the worst. I think danjuma will be big for us and will be a starter over son soon.
Porro is exactly what we need and will really elevate our attack/provide us with a bit more tactical flexibility.
I guess at least it only leaves us with 3 positions to strength in summer with Udogie coming in. GK LCB and CCB of real quality and we are flying!

Yup a disappointing window. Porro is an excellent addition, Danjuma was not really a target (though may prove a success).

We still need a new GK, LCB, CCB, and cover for RWF (and potentially a new CF if Kane leaves, as Richy will need rotation). That’s a lot things to get done in the summer and I have little confidence Levy will make it happen.
