Maynbe we go 3 at the back?

I have believed this for the longest. When u consider the defensive deficiencies of our fullback and the athleticism/ballplaying ability/'manliness' of our CB's (excepting Dawson on the athleticism and ballplaying but aces in the 'manliness') this would be a good tactical solution. And now with the massive tanks we have in the midfield to quell any opposition buildup this could work to our advantage.

For the first time this summer I feel like I can relax and enjoy this transfer window. With Roma confirming that Lamela is ours, I now think we'll have a much stronger team than last season...even without Bale.

Yes ideally we still need a CB, a striker, and a creative midfielder, but for me any further signings are a bonus.

Why not Kaka? Madrid don't seem to need him and nobody else to wants him. But on his day he is quality! If it didn't work out, he's also used to warming the bench! Must be more realistic than Oezil, right?

I still think that Coentrao will be part of the deal, we all know that we need another LB, so why are we not being associated with any?

I'm not even worried about the Bale saga anymore. If he goes, we have enough quality to cope. If he stays, we have a side that can genuinely challenge for the title THIS YEAR.

People are gonna be going bankrupt in the pledges thread the way this is going...
The only pledge I've got is if Bale stays. ;)

Shrewd, me, see?

[I'll bung a few quid in on pay day, WELL WORTH IT]

*bolts across nearest pitch like David Pleat*

It makes up for the last 5 years. Levy has cost us thousands in past windows :p

All noises we've heard is that he doesn't want to come no? Doesn't matter how much we want him I guess.....

Would love it if he had a change of heart though.

So just a hat, scarf and willispants then :p

Even with the assumption that willispants are the pants equivalent of Bruce's die hard vest, they'll still be smiling ;)

Willispants is actually that eejit from Brazil with the afro :D it was to be him and Lemela you see, but the deal is off now, sorry ;)

Just one question for the learned members of SC how long can one have an erection before they should consider heading to whips cross?
