Thanks mate. Surprised no one has seen him enter or exit Hotspur Way. Maybe he is still there signing the contract.

Considering no one has seen him, does anyone think there is some sort of Harry Potter-esque entrance into the training ground? Maybe they flush themselves down toilets in Harry Potter- if Bale tries to do it, he can stay in the fucking toilet.

Schalke are in for adebayour but there is a few problems

1, They don't have the cash so are looking at a loan deal but levy wants a sale

2, adebayour isn't that interested and wants to see if anybody else comes in for him

this isn't itk just some info passed from a mate

Offer them Adebayor and some money (maybe 8-10m) for Huntelaar

That way they get a striker and have a bit of money and we get a striker that would win the golden boot with us

Huntelaar is utterly made for the premiership

I have been informed from someone who used to have very close links to the club that Tommy is not happy with his opportunities appearing to dwindle with virtually every new signing. I hope that he gets a good prem loan to a side like Palace where he can get a run of games and show he has what it takes regularly in the prem. I doubt good performances in the cups and europa will be enough to really prove he has a real long term future here. Walker/Townsend and Rose have had to take that route so i hope he can follow.

Schalke have today bought Kevin Prince Boateng from AC Milan, so unless that's their entire budget gone in one, obviously not skint.

When i first mentioned lennon could be off alot of people said it surely wouldnt be the case! Now with the new signing of lamela and Erik, and young Townsend stepping up does he really have a place? He wont be happy to sit on the bench

I actually thought he may be the one to make way of Willian came, as Lamela, Chadli and Townsend are all inside forwards, Lennon is an out and out winger. But, with Eriksen replacing Willian, and being more central, and having seen Townsend look just as good on the left, I think Lennon may stay as an alternative option. Lamela, Townsend, Chadli and Lennon as four options for two wide berths.

If Baldini and Levy think Coentrao is overpriced, I'd like to know who do they have as an option. Maybe he's better and cheaper

There has been suggestions AVB is eying up a reunion with Pereira. Inter want shot, he would jump at the chance to rejoin AVB, and based on his Porto form, there is clearly a decent player in there, just not worked at Inter. Cost Inter €10m, but if Baldini can land him for significantly less based on their willingness to offload, and if AVB feels he can restore him to his Porto form, and if Coentrao is hesitating, would it not represent a good deal??

I think the fact that Rose has number 3 this season means he will be first choice and covered by our other defenders who 'can' play there.

I wouldn't read anything into his squad number. Rose was given 3 at the start of last season (when Bale switched to 11) but was then sent straight out on loan.

Insanity over Coentrao if true. More needed than any player bar Soldado we've bought this summer. May be the wages in relation to Lloris and Verts that's the issue, mind.
