The amount of times I've been sat with clients (albeit amongst a field of more qualified people in the room) getting twitchy because although everything is signed and ready to be dated, funds have not been confirmed as received by banks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the hold-up is to do with something financial. Not that we haven't got the money, but simply that the Seller is waiting for funds to hit.

Not uncommon in the transactional world, doubt it's uncommon in the football world either.

Let Vlad have his moment and where the media report on him, EL Draw follows and let that settle down, then one of the other 2 - let them have their moment and let the media run reports and then once that settles down complete the hat-trick. Also a rumour I believe (that I read on that site that must not be named) that the 3rd kit will be officially launched at some point as well.


Its a potential PR dream and they were never going allow us to blow our load this early. Instead gently tease us by unveiling little pieces of the this new sexy Tottenham model and getting us all worked up so that we all unite in one huge spunkathon at the end of the day.

In the time we'd taken to pack up the house, the bank had managed to delete the mortgage application rather than forwarding the required funds.

Is this relevant? No.

Whilst we are all here frantically smashing the granny out of the F5 key with the free hand that our penises aren't in, I'm fairly sure Levy, Baldini etc are just literally chilling with a bottle of Blue Nun somewhere. Safe in the knowledge that everything is pretty much going precisely to plan. They're probably just awaiting phone calls, emails, faxes, memos, flying pigeons, scrolls etc to be returned so they can then action the next part of the process whilst ensuring they handle the whole Bale debacle appropriately.
Meanwhile back at SC, the imminent fap-a-thon that will be the result of Erik Lamela's signing has been set back slightly again.

Actually, it brings me to an analogy I just thought of..

When flying, often it seems like absolute chaos. The noise, turbulence, bustle, nerves, etc.

In the cockpit, the pilots are basically sitting there in peace and quiet, relaxed, refreshed, all the dials and gauges are showing 'normal' and there's a lovely view out of the window.

It's all fine.

When flying, often it seems like absolute chaos. The noise, turbulence, bustle, nerves, etc.

In the cockpit, the pilots are basically sitting there in peace and quiet, relaxed, refreshed, all the dials and gauges are showing 'normal' and there's a lovely view out of the window.

It's all fine.

I think there's a big Willian-shaped hole in the side of that plane though. Hence the uptighteriness.
