I like Olise but bit contradictory with D1 here if Porro is going to be utilised firther forward on the right with Deki then it makes pursuing Olise a tad redundant- certainly not a priority on the right flank

Unless Porro is going to back him up and Emerson at RB.

Porro being a bit of a utility player for us

It's a hamstring with Olise, the commentator said he'd be out for the rest of the tournament but it must be a pretty bad one because his team mates were holding up his shirt during a goal celebration. Unless they just really really like him and are upset that he's going to miss a couple of games.

Edit - it's a grade 3 tear apparently, up to 3 months to recover.
Yeah 3 months plus depending on severity and also if it needs surgery (rare but could be required depending where the rupture is).
Also one of those annoying injuries that just when you think you are over it, it rares up. Just look at Ryan Sessegnon and his latest hamstring injury.
Hopefully this is at the lesser end of the grade 3 i.e doesn't need surgery.

Alec Scott has been on clubs radar for 2 years now and its possible we sign him but its not the highest priority , we shipped 63 league goals last season so there are going to be 2 if not 3 center half coming in now

As I have said its highly likely Holberg goes we have concrete interest from Bayern and athletico he does not fit Ange system , Ange wants to have a look at gill, glc and tangy pre season but bearing in mind bissouma is injury prone and Rodrigo will not even make the bench until mid/end of sept then there is a good chance 2 new midfielders will come In as well, Ange will want 6 high energy midfielders , 2 who can sit and 4 in the bentacur /maddison role there must be 2 players for each role

kulu was seen as a bit of a punt fantastic first season not so good second we are paying 30 million over 6 years and he is young with a high ceiling so we took a punt but depending how things pan out do not be surprised if we splash heavily on a top forward /winger to make up the 3 with H and son

Jesus fucking christ. Assuming even half of this comes off, we are really doing some impressive work this window. Not sure I know how to feel about it lol.

Kinda glad if we don’t move for olise. I don’t think he’s what we need. He’s very much like Kulu in he’s a creative not really a goal scorer. I want us to have truly quick direct goal scoring wingers.

Yeah he's a bit like Dembele in that he doesn't seem to like shooting.

He's an assister above all.

Thanks to everyone who donated yesterday. We had a decent response and it's covered the bills for a couple more months. Ideally, by the end of the window we'd like to be covered up until Christmas but it's an excellent start. Thanks!

Have you considered setting a public target? Might help, might not. Just a thought

Didnt want to cancel my longstanding £2 a month, so have added an additional one for £3 a month.

Well worth it for this mayhem.

Or maybe the fact his wages are going from between 20k to 30k per week up to 192.000k per week. I don't think the ability thing comes into it. He is only 24 years old a few seasons there and he is set for life then he can come back to Europe and show that he has a lot of quality.

I think it's weirder when players who already have millions stashed away uproot their families and kids to go live in the desert, just so they can earn even more money that they don't need.
They can set their kids up for life, and their kids. It has its appeal especially in the world we live in now
