JJ never said Bale was off though. Yes he mentioned 'special' but until JJ confirms it himself it could be anyone from Khumalo to Caulker

It's been cleared up. He did mean Bale.

It feels like it's deadline day. Too much going on - hopefully not a whole squad reshuffle. It's too late for that as we approach the end of pre-season. If we can just keep things as they are and add Soldado we will be in a great position.

if we respond once it shows we're going to keep answering questions. if we're quiet we've technically not said anything as there is nothing to say.

Not really Eriksen has talked uo the prospect of playing for 1 of Spains big 2, so if we sign him were more than likely have another Modric situation on our hands.. so no thanks.
Alderwielde well he isn't really that good

Honda's deal with Milan seems to be stalling he'd be worth a try big wages though. Martins Indi would be my choice he's an absolute beast, no problems adjusting to PL I'D think can also play LB 2 birds 1 stone

Mascher really aint a CB, he can only play there because it is Barca - He would be a liability in nearly every other team. Super CDM though.

While likely he does mean Bale, he doesn't specifically mention him. Also without bashing JJ, this window he has got a few calls wrong (all ITK's get things wrong at times) - Hopefully this is a call he has got wrong.
