This post is like the start of a talksport show....Net spend (like last summer) this window or profit-taking or serious investment in the first team?
What do you think will happen?
Will recent ITK of Pochettino asking for Levy to try harder for MS bear fruit or will history repeat itself as in the case of Moutinho & AVB?
I've heard from a couple of people involved with the club that he became unpopular with the club's hierarchy and some of the dressing room when he talked about Tim Sherwood to the press prior to Sherwood's sacking. Mods PM'd re: my sources.
As things stand:
27 overage (limit 25). 20 overseas (limit 17).
I think Paulinho is more in line for the AM spots, particularly with Holtby gone.We still have Stambouli, Paulinho, Dembele, Bentaleb, Capoue for 2 central midfield spots. Unless one of them goes I don't see us trying again for Schneiderlin. Especially as Poch has already apparently said he wants to trim down the squad.
One final bid doesn't mean anything, it still has to be accepted and there is no guarantee of that!
And the rating system is gone...
Let's see 1. Whether he passes the medical and if he does 2. How many games he is able to play
Sherwood said that Sandro was unfit to play. Sandro said he was fit and ready. I know who I believe.
Is Sandro speaking his mind about something like that all that bad? In fact, is it bad at all?
His last performance should have moved him to the front
Sandro looks out, and BAE will be dropped - not sure about KhumaloWe have 6 home grown players who were born before January 1, 1993:
Walker, Rose, Naughton
Lennon, Townsend, Mason (not including Fryers)
We have 18 non-homegrown players born before January 1, 1993:
Friedel, Vorm, Lloris
Kaboul, Vertonghen, Chiriches, Khumalo, BAE
Paulinho, Lamela, Dembele, Chadli, Eriksen, Capoue, Sandro
Adebayor, Soldado, Ceballos (not including Holtby but including Stambouli.)
We are only allowed to have 17 non homegrown in the squad of 25.
So at least 1 must be sold or excluded from the squad.
Ah Rebrab what have you done ?!
He's so level headed and only posts when he gets something solid as well !
I think Paulinho is more in line for the AM spots, particularly with Holtby gone.
