And that Arsenal had actually made an offer for him and had it accepted. And the fact they offer CL football can pay him 100k and are a lot better side than us !

And when we are in 6th and haven't taken a point off any of the top 4 come April ? Who does the calling out then ?
See yesterday, I was so busy that dealing with your constant off-topic bleating kept getting pushed back in the list of things to do. But now i've got time on my hands, you've refreshed my memory. I've decided I don't want you in here any more.
I honestly hope we are wrong but let's see how people feel once Lloris and vertonghen, erikssen leave. I'm basing my prediction on our form, we lost berbatov, carrick, bale, modric... Others have a decent season whereby Poch got southampton to 8th. The gap between 16th and 8th is dwarfed by 7th to 4th ... I think Poch is a very good coach and will get us to 5th/6th but he's not a magician. Glass ceiling and all that and we are because of foolish decisions the wrong side of it.
You felt offended by "Shut up"?Shut up is not an acceptable response.
I'm not the one who should be banned.
Politics huh.
I'll give you 3 -I am just trying to understand why Poch has such a huge hard on for Jay Rod. I understand he is a good player, not amazing, but good and I understand that he obviously worked very well within Potch's desired system at Southampton but surely there must be other players, younger players with maybe higher potential that we could maybe look towards instead. I am not bothered about our transfer window, on the whole we did what we needed to do as best we could. Yes our attack needed strengthening and that didn't happen, but really we needed to loose players and rebuild our defence and we did that on very little money. I personally think the only player we badly missed out on is Depay, I think he would have been the perfect final piece to our attacking midfield. He is young, fast, good on the ball and can score, essentially he has everything to be a world class winger in the next few years. But we seemingly decided not to peruse him which brings me back to Jay Rod. One ITK said Depay refused to come to us but personally I don't buy that, I find it more plausible that Poch, although liking Depay, only had eyes for Jay Rod and said to Levy he wanted to get him in Jan regardless of who we get now. Hopefully this move works out and Rod comes back to full strength and we manage to get him in Jan but I can't say this, seemingly, one track mind doesn't cause me a little bit of concern. Still, one step at a time, we are not a top four team at the moment so we shouldn't judge ourselves against them, let's just see what Poch can do with the good team we have now.
We cant expect much this year i dont think We have enough goals in us Our front line is average i would expect to finish 7/8th this season and see what happens next.
Poch is happy with the squad so what foolish decisions are you talking of?
You felt offended by "Shut up"?
Is it out of the ordinary here for Spurs fans to be praising the Scum! And the fact they offer CL football can pay him 100k and are a lot better side than us !

Difficult subject but you only have to check the league tables for the past too many seasons. So honesty is the best policy, otherwise it's cloud cookoo land.Is it out of the ordinary here for Spurs fans to be praising the Scum!
No one knows the answers to all this, so it's time people on both sides get off their high horse and stop talking down to people. General consensus is that we did ok points wise last season despite being poorly coached and we believe Poch is the right man to lead us. Time to just support him and the team and hope for the best.
Forgive me for hoping to see my team have the best chance of performing on the pitch rather than look forward to the glorious sale of the club.
That £10m funnelled towards that cause will help our campaign a lot more than having Sandro as a squad option for example.
But with the same frontline we finished 5th so can't really see why that shouldn't be what we are looking at and anything else is a bonus, Everton where dark horses last year but this time round different proposition as everybody won't take them so lightly and United are in the same place we were last season with so many new players, new manager new style of play.
I think this is the big positive to take from this, but the caveat being Poch needs to be given time and support by Levy all season to slowly build us up again. Only problem is no one can be sure he will, history certainly doesn't suggest that...
