I would love it if Saha comes on in the Liverpool match, and scores his first goal with a header from a corner

Same, few Liverpool mates had the cheek to give me grief over this signing earlier, will come back to bite them on the arse I hope.

Its on the OS now... we have saha on a perm. I though it was a loan?

I'm happy enough with that. Saha at a new club will be more motivated than Pav is atm... so whilst its not a massive deal i think its a good one.

Harry is pleading insanity in his court case and he's using these transfers as evidence. The guy is a genius.

To whoever it was whinging about Harry not rotating......

You could see it that way, but I prefer see it that we are currently 3rd, by 7 points! Who would you rotate?

Defoe for VDV? No thanks.

Sandro for Parker? Yes, I would agree with that one, but Parker has been great and Sandro has been injured for much of this season.

Ade for Pav? Err, no.

Who else?

The only player who should have played far more is Niko, but he has also been injured and who do you drop to play him? Personally I think he could do the VDV role quite well, but Harry knows better than I.

We don't have the squad to rotate, so why rotate it?

i got what i wanted tonight - 3 points.

signing i wanted above all was a player on right hand side / winger type but never happened but i think saha was clever buy, strong great with back to goal and good movement. called that transfer last night when jj asked for guesses! haha

i think the fact we want bassong out and only short term loan in should send off red flags for fans.imo we must have center half lined up!!!!! i wonder who!????

I think a lot of you are missing the fact that our first team is already brilliant, very difficult to improve without spending obscene amounts, and that improving the squad so that we can have injuries and not shit ourselves may well be the difference for us. Regardless of age, is Saha superior to Pav in pretty much every aspect of the game? Absolutely. All of a sudden, even at his age, we have a striker who can play on his own should Adebayor pick up an injury. We've been panicking about the thought of an Adebayor injury all season, now we don't have to.

He only had 6 months left on his Everton contract.

sods law the day we let Charlie go on loan then kyle walker goes and tears his groin and we are left with no cover at right-back just when we have are hardest run of games coming up.
