I don't get it. I'd assumed we were getting Nelsen in purely because we'd received a cash offer for Bassong that was hard to refuse. A loan makes no sense to me. Nelsen is not an improvement.

5th choice. Replaced by Caulker next season. Makes perfect sense.

A striker with 1 goal in 18. A defender who has played 1 game in a season. You have to love supporting spurs! It's a great laugh!

I can imagine Levy in his office with a map of the country, moving the players around the map like a general

General Levy no less

When we signed ade Harry said rio thought he was unplayable. Sound familiar? Another key element to who we sign ie are they free/ available on loan tick, does rio rate them? Tick

To whoever it was whinging about Harry not rotating......

You could see it that way, but I prefer see it that we are currently 3rd, by 7 points! Who would you rotate?

Defoe for VDV? No thanks.

Sandro for Parker? Yes, I would agree with that one, but Parker has been great and Sandro has been injured for much of this season.

Ade for Pav? Err, no.

Who else?

The only player who should have played far more is Niko, but he has also been injured and who do you drop to play him? Personally I think he could do the VDV role quite well, but Harry knows better than I.

We don't have the squad to rotate, so why rotate it?

Rio's comments were regarding Saha.

I guess most of us are disappointed that we haven't made an uber signing. But in truth the players that Harry has brought in since he has been here have all done a decent job for us.
Some of them Friedal, Parker and Walker amongst them have been exceptional. Saha is obviously a quality player whose career has been blighted by injury.

I think we should cut Harry a bit of slack and trust his judgemet. He hasn't done too badly too far has he?

It is what it is I suppose. Feel pretty low now as I did in the summer. But we are sitting 3rd still in the FA cup so Harry has got it right so far. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. And as long as we finish in the top four which I'm sure we will it has been a good season.

Remember Villa fans were saying that Friedel was past it and look how well he has performed for us this season.

People need to realise that Saha is an experienced forward that could well lift his form with this move. Signing him makes our forward line much stronger IMO - he is more equipped to fill in for Ade without messing with our most effective formations.

I hope this summer with CL qualifictaion (fingers crossed) , we'll see 2-3 top notch players added to our already superb squad.

And with a new stadium in the horizon it should be great to be a spurs fan.
