My wife will demand in the strongest possible terms that I 'turn that shit off/over!!(SNN)
That I decline, which I turn leads, inevitable, to my wife getting her own way and switching over to watch wild at heart/corrie/dancing on ice.
And spurs pose and posture with bids for anyone with two legs, that once owned a football as a lad, and predictably fail to sign anyone.

What was all that crap about last night in this thread where everyone kept asking others to delete their posts? Did someone 'give away' a signing? I read through it with some difficulty.

Nothing that exciting. One of 'ours' typed something and then swiftly deleted it but was nothing about a signing though.
Others then quoted and questioned him but because he's chosen to delete it, the general feeling was that he didn't mean to type it and that if he'd chosen to delete it, others should too.
Kinda nice to see SCers protecting one of theirs, in a way.

Morning chaps (and the odd chapette)! So im working from home, got two laptops open and SSN on. To be honest i would LOVE us to sign someone toda, but i dont feel we're as desperate as we have been in the last few windows. I know we need cover for Ade, but at least we actually have him this time! Any signings today will just be a bonus. That said, IM BLOODY EXCITED!

I expect almost absolutely nothing to happen today. Maybe Gio or Corluka will leave but other than that....nada.

If we sign Ade permanent today and do no other business then I won't be too disappointed. I can't see us being too busy and now it has come to it I can't say I'm too worried.

I would rather be in our position than Arsenal. They need players but aren't doing anything.

So from JJ's info from last night we might be getting shot of Pav and Pienaar, bringing in a winger and striker on loan, and maybe getting Hazard and Leandro in the summer?

Oh and he also said Remy was looking good for the summer and has previously said the same about Vertonghen.

Is that everything?

To be honest, I'm looking forward to this window closing. I don't like the January window, it's a pain in the arse, nothing much generally happens, people get there hopes up for reasons that they shouldn't do. At least there is a game on tonight which in my opinion is much more important.





Obviously, even though I have just said what I have said, I will still be checking on here every couple of minutes and will probably have the chat room open at some point throughtout the day. He's been pretty rubbish for the last 5 or so years although has been doing better this year. He's a prize pillock too so would fit in at Arsenal.
