The player that managed to have the most unbelievable correllation between level of support compared with level output.

Less output ... far more support than much more established players.

Overrated because of his name. The worst effort to learn English I've seen from a player in the country for 3 years. The worst effort in a match I've seen for a player in a Tottenham shirt. For an international striker, his first touch is possibly the worst.

Thanks for the odd crucial goals and for being excruciatingly painful to watch.

I welcome Louis Saha. I welcome him because he will put a lot of effort in. Because he's a busy bastard.

Don't know what planet people are on sometimes. It's not just about the fucking name on the back, it's about their work ethic and goalscoring ability.
I welcome this post. As it actually makes perfect sense.:clap:

Only one I am against is Nelsen although of course he will get my full support if he plays

He has played 1 game in a year and only 3 weeks ago flew to NZ for specialist treatment to try and save his career, it will be weeks before he can feature and months before he is fully match fit

Just don't see the point, we need someone who can slot in straight away

I thought somebody said he was fighting to be fit for Blackburn's next game? either way he is not going to walk into our team, so if he needs a few weeks then it's no skin off our nose really is it?

Look at what we are doing short term and then salivate over the players we are trying to bring in.
Remy big bid went in today but got knocked back but is good for the summer
verthonghen- lined up
hazard is up to the player but we are in with a really really good shout
Leandro - on again off again every day

The last few windows have been excellent for clearing out and replacing players with cheaper and better players. We want to buy the next superstars not loan them.

Sounds good JJ - bring it on :hump:

At last, someone else who saw Pav for what he was...absolute gash!

Ok, almost calmed down now. Took time out from here ever since JJ dropped the Nelson bomb at around 7pm. Have I missed much fun and games? Did we get linked to another 100 players since then. I got about 90 pages to go through - worth it?

All I know is Saha in on loan/perm? Nelson on loan. Corluka out (Walker was always destined to get injured today!), Bassong out on loan and maybe Pienaar out on loan. That our lot? Sounds shit. Will rep for a decent update - cheers chaps, its been emotional.

A bit hard to play when you're injured.

When he wasn't, there were openings for him central and right, and he didn't get picked.

If you saw him play for Everton and thought he wasn't good enough, that does place you in the minority, cos even Harry must have thought he was.

But surely that tells you he won't be missed. if there were openings for him and he didnt get picked then we obviously have back up players that are regarded as better options. Niko now he's fit for one I'd imagine.

Pienaar Corluka and bassong were loans and will possibly be back in the summer along with Jenas and Bentley don't forget so back to square one

But why leave ourselves inexplicably short of numbers?

And could we really find no wing cover in all the world?

Tbh I've heard we're going to do this or that next window a million times. All that happens is someone else comes in for the players with more money and they go elsewhere. Unless its signed we've got nothing.

We could have won the title if we'd gone for it. Now we're relying completely on luck with injuries to make CL next season.

The two contradict themselves when placed in a Spurs context though.

I can name his qualities, thanks, Sean, as ever with the insightful posts, but they don't translate easily to a team such as ours and a way of playing that doesn't suit him.

He was let go because he begged. Begged. How sweet.

Now he'll have as much impact for us as he has done over the past year. And he won't even be anywhere near the club. How sweet is that too?

Saha/Pav: No problems with this, lots of PL experience and used to playing as the lone striker. Lets all hope for no injuries though.

Nelsen: Bit baffling I have to say, been out for a long time so is going to be very rusty and how will he overcome that if he is coming in as cover? TBH would have prefered us keeping Bassong. Trying to put this as nicely as possible we hopefully dont see him on the pitch too much, as other CB options are fit and on form.

Pienaar: Never been that sold on him since he joined, not really that bothered that he's gone. Actually looking at the numbers and assuming the injuries we have right now arent long-term ones we should be ok without him.

One now would help stake our claim this year and potentially make us more attractive to other players as a team on the up.

A couple of injuries in areas we're prone to them from players prone to them and we could have problems. It's all a bit risky.

I realise Rome wasn't built in a day, but we see to be treading water when we could be going for glory. After 3-4 years of Pav, is impatience so wrong?

Saha don't score goals

And Pav did?

Saha does score. What you should've said was he doesn't play.

Bear in mind the team he's been playing in too. Compare that to the one Pav has been playing in.

At worst it's a like for like swap that we've made £10mil+ out of.

Not sure how anyone can argue with that.

Pienaar was a non entity for us.

Pienaar started 5 games for us, But F*** me we are doomed

We're hardly doomed, but whatever you might think of Pienaar, he's a hard working, reliable player that has always performed well when given a chance.

I really don't see how loaning him out and not bringing anyone in to fill his place is a positive in any way.

What the fuck happened to our squad depth?
