From what I understand, Moutinho deal not 100% dead
Based on what mate? Most seem to be saying its over
From what I understand, Moutinho deal not 100% dead
Correct. Except he is.FFA Dempsey is not a striker/forward
What is the 'deal sheet'?
The deal sheet was introduced two years ago. Clubs sometimes conclude deals at the last minute and it is not always easy for them to get everything completed and sent over by 11pm. The deal sheet allows a club to confirm that a deal has been reached in order to allow for additional time to submit the remaining documentation.
The sheet cannot be used prior to 9pm and needs to arrive fully completed before the transfer window closes. Once the sheet arrives, clubs have got until 1am in which to submit the full paperwork. But if a club are looking to complete an international transfer, it still has to comply with the FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS) deadline of midnight.
Any player signed after midday on Friday will not be eligible for this weekend's match.

Depends on the agreement really. We may have the right to recall him.let kane go, fffffing ridiculous why not let him play against us and score loads... what a joke....
Pretty annoyed that Gio only went for £1m. Considering how hes done for Mexico, thats a bargain for Mallorca
I honestly cannot believe what we have ended up with after losing modric and vdv poor1 striker who can play on own, 1 who has to play in a 2 and another so called who is actually a midfielder... backwards aint the word, would love to know arrys take and i was glad he left... maybe im regretting right now
"Moutinho deal failed due to 15% players rights stake owned by a third party. Fee and personal terms agreed."
Edit: Here it is bigger "Moutinho deal failed due to 15% players rights stake owned by a third party. Fee and personal terms agreed."
How exactly is a fee agreed if we didn't sort out 15% of his rights? Impossible. Did we agree to a 22m fee for 85% of him or something? Pretty confused, but that statement above cannot be accurate.
Gonna watch some porn... take my mind off this shit.
Serious Q, are you now Levy out SK?
Surely you can do better than that? Once again, with a quote!
WTF, please.. I was just about to go to bed!
Very conservative. Closer to 65-70 total. These numbers look horribly wrong on the outs.
Depends on the agreement really. We may have the right to recall him.
I don't know why I am still up.... Why am I still hoping he is going to sign?!?
But I just can't put my phone down.
Surely we knew about the 3rd party months ago
Hertyid updated us this afternoon that we weren't aware of the numbers involved, which made me think it had to do with the 15%. If this is true, then it's fucking amateur. End of."Moutinho deal failed due to 15% players rights stake owned by a third party. Fee and personal terms agreed."
Some people just have no clue, not even the merest shred of an idea how the basic economics of football work, particularly for a club in our position - essentially trying to buy Waitrose goods and Tesco prices. Levy is not penny pinching for the sake of it, he's doing it because he has too and it directly benefits what happens on the field, and not just the next game, not even the next 10 months but to keep us safe for the long term future.
We'll be aright, I'm gutted we've lost 2 world class midfielders and have left a midfield clearly lacking brains and guile but we have goals in us, we have solidity and a manager who will spend more time coaching the attention to detail things that HR didn't. We have a very, very encouraging youth set up and ethos that will hopefully grow and be the cornerstone of what we want to achieve. We are in good hands and are a club that is set up for the long term future.
Lets smash Norwich to smithereens tomorrow now.
