I really don't see how the stadium naming rights etc investment is going to have any impact on team spending. We are by most estimates having to fund a 400m development. Surely if someone comes along with 100m it's going to get eaten up pretty quickly and not go near the transfer pot ?

If the stadium is funded, all the money we have taken from transfers in the past 3 years and coming summer can be put towards improving the squad?

Not criticising Akqayid, but most South American players' prices are quoted in $ (and are often not converted when they are quoted in £ or €).

When we bought Sandro there was talk he cost £16m; but it was actually about $16m, which was about £8m.

Acqayid did also say it would be a club record, so that would mean about £18m plus

Really? You really don't undestand?

OK, well if we are given the money, we do not need to borrow the money. Banks and financial institutions like to charge something called "interest" when you borrow money. You may have read something about it recently, it's been in the news.
