So, Luis Martins as first team coach,
and according to Jacob on COYS:
Quite a U turn in the coaching department. We had the dinosaurs in the business in Redknapp and Jordan, guys who admittedly don't use computers and new technology and now we have AVB and Freund - the young and hungry, tech savvy guys. Successful youth development (Freund and Martins) versus sign over 30 players (Harry and Jordan). I hope our players can adapt to the change as quickly as possible.

I really don't think we need to be posting everything the say in the RO... I mean JJ's thing just there either just a mistake or a joke. We need to apply a bit of common sense here or the RO will just become a twitter feed.

Exactly. Everyone on here spotted within a second that it was one of those two options. No need for people to put it in the RO. I guess just ask yourself "id this worth people discussing?". We just had a page of people saying that Luka has time off due to the Euros. With a bit of common sense this would be fairly easy to manage.

without going too far off topic, my experience of coaching shows that initially players find easy training quite fun and a bit of a laugh.. turn up, do nothing, go home, like it's a kick around at school.
After a while, when their performances and fitness levels aren't what they were, players get frustrated and want to be challenged because the easy routine becomes boring. They want to learn and want to improve.
Hopefully this will test them. It will be a big shock but when they start playing well or do new things it will be much better.. the ones who don't adapt can leave and play for someone without ambition. Players should be looking forward to training, not going in because they have to.

Maybe it was a similar injury to the kind that Giggs used to get all those years stopping him playing for Wales midweek, but then allowing him to turn out for United on the Saturday?

The sooner Luka goes the better really, it's obvious he wants to go so he needs to be sold quickly so we can work on getting a replacement. Unless he states he wants to stay and is 100% comitted to the team (which will not happen) then just sell him.
