Honestly, I'm gutted it sounds like we are getting Poch. Nice guy etc. But Rafa has more credibility when it comes to CL football as does FDB. Biggest concern is not being able to retain and attract top players. Our next target HAS to be to become a regular top 4 finisher and overtake Arsenal and we need an experienced manager to do that imo.

Well according to the Telegraph we've demanded Pochettino converses in English!

I think this would be a mistake (not a surprise then that we would have suggested it).

He can speak fluent English by all accounts so he would have no issues with the players.

Let him use the translator as he has been, to help prevent the media from twisting his words (and in some cases it allows him to flat out ignore questions), its been a fairly useful tool, why take it away?

The guy seems pretty media savy...after this past season we could use a season of incredibly dull pressers.

Impossible, I always pop in on your mum before I come to see you and I always make sure...hang on.

My mum died in a tragic chocolate fudge sundae accident. You're bang out of order mate.

(That would explain the smell, though)

Why do we need someone with CL credibility? We ain't getting it any time soon

I think most people do.

I'd actually be fine with either, after tim, but have an obvious preference for specific reasons.

So does Neil Lennon, and Ajax's European record in CL and Europa League under Frank the Farmer has been pretty poor.

We're not going to become a regular top four club until the new stadium gets built.

Your question answers your question. We could go all out to win the Europa with a decent squad of top players and a seasoned manager who can manage a squad well playing twice a week - but if we lose those top players from our squad and can't attract others, due to a relative newcomer, we won't be doing much at all either way.

Lennon is not even worth comparing to either and not really relevant. I agree the stadium needs building tho and that seems to be on the way.
