The thing with Pritchard is at this age it's as much about his character as his talent. Does he have work ethic? Is he looking like he will have a settled life off the field? There are so many things the club has to weigh up. I am sure Sherwood and Levy are on top of this, although Ingelthorpe defecting to Pool means it wouldn't be surprising if he came back to hoover up some talent...

The problem is he might never be physically strong enough for the premiership and by that I mean he could spend most of his career in the treatment room.

Pritchard is small but he's not skinny like Ryan Mason. He's robust like Tevez.

If anybody thinks Levy will spend money to land Damiao or Moutinho is living in dream land.
We were in the title race last January and we ended up with Saha and Nelsen on a free and that summed up our ambition.

Bring in Holtby now and put in a bid for Welbeck (Around £15-20mill)
Strong,Quick and knows how to finish.

Players that are both registered for Nextgen, and have made at least 1 appearance for their clubs...

Arsenal: Afobe, Eisfeld, Gnabry, Aneke, Yennaris.
Chelsea: Piazon, Chalobah.
Aston Villa: None.
Liverpool: Sterling, Wisdom.
City: Rekik, Suarez, Lopes.
Spurs: Kane.
Liverpool have had more than that to be honest and so have united, also Liverpool minus Sterling where shit against our nextgen team and 5 them made their debuts this season whereas none of ours have made it(kane was in the championship)

Also our youth players who are proven at least to a championship level aren't getting look in let alone someone like Pritchard. Final point Mason is more highly rated than Pritchard and he is going to leave this window or next imo so Pritchard going isnt a surprise imo, I just fear he will end up in Manchester

According to twitter, a player called Steve Nash has 10,000 assists in his career and he is a Spurs fan.
Should we put in a bid? I assume he plays winger and he is very creative.

Those stats put Messi to shame.

He's Canadian - we don't need that sort of baggage in our team.

Manchester United aren't in the Nextgen. I went through Liverpool's nextgen squad for this season, and Sterling and Wisdom are the only two who are eligible this season and also seeing first team action.

The Basketball player? Am I wrong in thinking he also has shares in the club?

Surprised that we haven't had Pritchard or Coulthirst in any of our squads in any competition. Would like to start seeing if any of these guys can kick on. If Gareth Bale came through our youth set up, would he have ever got a chance?

We are so desperate for an exciting talent to come through our youth team, how gutting would it be to lose one before we get the chance to see them.

Yes Manchester United in the next gen, but I was highlighting that lesser players in the same point development have had more opportunities and I was referring to the Liverpool team we beat last year, they looked shit other than Sterling but 4 or 5 have made their debuts whereas none have made their debuts for us. Then when you consider there are more players talented than Pritchard who are struggling to get near the team, you can see why he may not sign a contract
