Wtf is up with Chelsea? Signing another 3-4 attacking midfielders this window, some are bound to waste their careers.
I bet that De Bruyne fellow are happy with his choice now.
I honestly dont know why they buy the odd talent like him or Lukaku, maybe so the rest of the football world would think they try develop talent?
Truth is those youngsters piss away their careers, cause at the end of the day Chelsea just buying whoever they feel like anyways.

edit: might be they just dont care cause will get more money there than most places i guess..

The original JJetset@jetsetyid
@mattywithey @Mr_Spurger Oscar has gone now to Chelski.Missed the boat on this one!

Its funny because it will actually be difficult for them to have Marin, Hazard, Mata and Oscar in the match day squad each week. The chances are 1 or perhaps 2 of them will regularly fail to make the bench!

Well, we move on! I just hope that DL and co won't allow anybody to leave until we have secured what we need. We pay these players a massive wage and we must put ourselves first. No replacement, no move.

Exactly. It's a tricky balancing act but if we want to maximise our chances for this upcoming season, and these two signings are obviously seen as important and long-term pieces to the puzzle, it's a very risky strategy to leave it too long.

Both Lloris and Moutinho are quality players - there's no way that their clubs would suddenly decide to release them on deadline day as they won't be able to replace them. If we're not prepared to push the boat out to get them now then the club should identify more attainable targets and move on.

 The dreaded Tottenham Hotspur transfer curse strikes again!!! It's going to be a looooooooooong summer. My mind's been polluted by so many windows of last day business... we didn't use to do all our business like this did we? I remember the summer Arnesen signed and we were making signings progressively throughout the summer. Damn can't believe that was 8 years ago!! Where's the time gone?!

And how many of those Arnesen signings' names can you remember? I was watching the Czechs in the Euros, heard the name 'Limbersky', thought, 'That rings a bell' and then remembered why. Some of those players Arnesen signed weren't here long enough to get a locker.

Bang-for-buck, our best summer window was 2005.

Bloody hell, our first team hasn't even played a pre season friendly yet and were worrying about not getting players in by deadline day? We've already signed 2 great players and look like we've signed Adebayor. All we had this time last year was Brad Freidel on a free.

Chill. Out.

bring back the 3 foreigner rule haha. i actually hink there is something in them stockpiling and buying to weaken teams or stop them from strengthening. i know united and even fergie said he had to make moves on eooney and jones and even smalling to stop other teams getting them before he ideally wanted too. good skills on one hand but on other its just wrong but agents get a wad of cash from clubs like this so player will follow the money.

Will be intresting to see what RDM will do with all this new attacking talent. During the last months of last season they had no other plan than all men in defense hoping for the best (simply and maybe slightly biased put;) ).
He is also forced to stick with Lampard if he want any piece, so one slot taken already.
Really hope he lose control and/or show no signs of any plan so they fuck it up.

Along with Lampard, Essien, Ramires, Mirales, Sturridge, Torres. RDM will have a hard job keeping them all sweet.

As much as oscar sounds a great promising star i have to say Id have been really worried and annoyed if we blew 25m and our transfer record on an untried 20 year old brazilian with no experience of european football. We need not delude ourselves, a club at our current stature and level really shouldnt be making huge risks on players for quite that much money. Bent and Bentley signings were very expensive and we flopped with them (i know bent did well but im talking in terms of where they took us as a club). Those signings took us back a few steps... i wouldnt want to blow our budget at this point on someone who is such a risk, not when the decision on who we buy with that money is soo vital as we are so close to being one of the elite. A bad record signing could cost us 3 years of development at this point

Couldnt it be simply rhat AVB is visiting Hulk who he worked with at Porto? On the other hand, maybe talking him to a move to WHL or Damiao in that case.

Oscar more or less gone to Chelsea!?!

Lloris 99% staying at Lyon!?!

Adebayor to Locomotiv!?!

We could be left short of players come the start of the season! :(

Gotta sort out Adebayor deal

Yes he is confident cause we wont pay over the odds for him.
have he forgot they are the ones whoring him around desperate for money lol
I thought Lyon needed to sell due to financial problems. But seems like they're still not will to negotiate the price.
