it's not only my transfer pledge that's growing by the minute. I don't remember having a stonker as tough as this since '99 in Tenerife. Heady, heady nights.

At what point do we class this a 'transitional season' - as in, transition from being a team competing for 4th to a genuine title contender?!

Our first team and bench will become as good if not better than those of Man Ure, Citeh and Chel$ea. We already now poseess a better team than Arsenal. FACT.

I'd agree that it'd be better than "Man Ure" but Citeh and Chel$ea... not sure. I mean Chel$ea have the revolving door or midfielders like Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Willian, De Byrune etc... not to mention Lukaku and soon to add Eto'o if all is to be believed. Think they've (annoyingly) got one of the most complete squads in the league. Would say we're on a par with Citeh squad-wise when we finalise all these signings but think we've now surpassed Man Ure. Though they're starting 11 is more gelled and RVP just is (annoyingly again) a win for them 9 times out of 10

Agreed, perfect upgrade on Defoe. If we buy Hernandez for say 15m, then sell Defoe for 7-10m(?). It's a fantastic piece of business. Though I'd wish Defoe well, he's been a servant.

Then more of a pipe dream (although in this window anything is possible): Ade out, and Damaio in - thats Soldado, Damaio, and Hernandez as our front three - and then with what we've already signed - we're title contenders beyond doubt. How are we going to keep them all happy? How do Man USA, Chelscum, Citeh, the Gooners back in the day, and every other TOP club around the world manage it? We need to start thinking like title contenders, if we want to be title contenders.

Met Chadli late last night whilst I was working at a local restaurant in NW London. Nice guy. Ended up speaking to him 3 times and I mentioned the derby on Sunday and wished him luck etc... Started work last night at 6pm just after the Roma announcement appeared so I asked him if he had heard anymore on Lamela. He replied; 'yes I think he has signed.' I asked if he knew about anyone else coming into the club and he said Eriksen should be signing soon too and after reading the news late last night when I got in at 3am from work I see that news has gathered pace rather nicely!
